US El Salvador, the defense

    Repped. Subjectively it was obvious watching the game this wasn’t the El Sal of 10 years ago, and objectively their recent results and FIFA rankings support that.

    Before the match I would have been massively, massively disappointed with a draw. Having watched El Sal in action, I’m still pretty disappointed, I still think it’s a bad, underachieving result. But it’s not a “pull your hair out” level result.

    You think the rankings are anywhere near accurate? Obviously not. Look who's on their team.

    I was thinking the same thing. I haven't seen him play much in a few years, but I remembered him being blazing fast before. If he still has that gear, he has not shown it in any of these games.
