    Why u guys so mad. Honestly this is the best result for Mexico, we usually fvck up too much during qualifiers that I wouldn’t be too comfortable with 3 teams only 2 points away from us and better goal difference

    Were the Honduras players on twitter all weekend looking at those tweets of the USMNT against El Salvador? They are trying to outdribble them all the time and constantly losing the ball eventually.

    Even without the rivalry, the USMNT is the best squad in CONCACAF of all our rivals so it's better for them to drop points.

    As much as I want Honduras to win this it's probably better for Mexico to have them tie with the US.

    Exactly, and dropping two more points today for USA would leave them on a total of 3 points which is a really bad start for them.
    But a win for Honduras would leave them on 5 points which is a really good start for them

    The US would get a bigger boost from getting 3 points and 1 of them out of SPS than getting 2. And as the better rival is better to be deflated and get a point than Honduras, who don't have the potential this US side has.
