I think it'd be a great new for any of us if he goes to Munich though he's more likely to choose to go to Arsenal.
I'm fed up with the crazy Kahn, we need a new blood to replace him.

If we don't get him, then who's the candidate ? anyone knows?

we have 2 young goalkeepers, rensing and schossler. Don't really know if they can make up to the loss of such a great figure like Kahn in this club.

Timo would be a great catch for Bayern. He is the best of Germany's up and coming keepers.

No way. Kahn will play at least until 2006 and then his successor will be Michael Rensing. Rensing is first choice in the german U21 and considered as the biggest german goalkeeping talent at the moment. Sepp Maier, Bayern's goalie-coach, even says that Rensing is already stronger than Hildebrand. And he worked together with Hildebrand at the NT, so he should know.
The last thing Bayern has to worry about are goalies and Hildebrand is overrated IMO.

isnt rensing too young? - i mean - even in two years, when kahn retires... i havent been entirely convinced by the guys displays so far...

what about tim wiese - hes young too, i know, but hes been playing at a top flight club for a while now, and will continue to do so for the next 2 years, giving him some great experience... hopefully priming him for the move to bayern after kahn retires after wc2006...

rensing, imo wil not be ready to take over full duty as he will have hardly any experience in organizing the back line, imposing himself on the game, and having a prescence or inspiring confidence around the area...

i dont mindkahn being here for 1.5 years more (hes only got problems with the underhand take, as somebody else pointed out some time back - ive got no problems with him otherwise - hes still top class)... but after kahn goes, we should definitely go for tim wiese!! ive really liked him whenever ive seen him

Not sure how I feel about this one...

Kahn needs to start thinking about his retirement in the MLS in a year or two, and I am fully confident that Rensing will take his spot. If Timo comes, well, then Kahn will exit earlier, however, it may mean Rensing moves elsewhere.

Tim Wiese is crap. Flaps at crosses and does not command his area well enough.

Bayern don`t want Hildebrand and I think they`re damn right about that. Hildebrand is not as good as some make him. Kahn performed flawlessly today - I think he still has at least 2 good years in him. Everybody is talking about Rensing as Kahn`s successor, but what about Wessels? He was originally planned to be Kahn`s successor and was only lent to Cologne to gain practice before he comes back to Bayern. Now suddenly everyone seems to have forgotten about him?

Comme in a shock appearance in the Bayern forum. You certainly have a point there.
