Look at you season tix suckers :) Serves y'all right for believing in this shit team. After I dropped out of season tix I feel like a brand new man.

You drop your season tickets for this "shit" team, yet you still feel compelled to spend your time here arguing about them. Who is the sucker now?

The VIP parking ticket is sort of a subsidy for selling moat tickets at a loss. I can usually sell above face value a few times a year to suckers from Seattle, LA and Atlanta.

Good point, i knew I was just here for the parking!!

What can I say, but old habits die hard. I know that bobby guzman and Quakes05 are both right, that buying STH tickets only feeds the Fisher beast. Remember when people stuck with the Warriors for decades, buying tickets just to watch the opponents beat up their team? I guess that's actually where I'm at nowadays.

It’s a weird thing because buying sth’s and supporting the team regardless is also principled and worthwhile, there are lots of people involved trying to make things work in a tight situation. It’s really a dilemma for Quakes fans, good arguments on both sides, no clearly right or wrong answer.

A few key signings and a first round playoff win, I’d probably hop back in.

If the Quakes were serious at all they would look at where we’re sitting in the standings now, the teams performance thus far this year, and make a few serious moves to salvage the season.

The summer transfer window is open. Quakes move.

Tickets sold. I listed them for exactly what I paid for them. That means I ate the ticketmaster fees ($10). Whoever bought them probably had to pay ticketmaster fees as well.

Ticketmaster by design is the bad guy.

Well congrats, at least you only had to eat 10% of the costs.
And I agree, why is Ticketmaster allowed to charge 10% both ways on something that never leaves their database? 3% for credit card transaction fee, but the rest is all internal revenue-generating fees

    Hey Quakes Die-hards,

I'm visiting from NC for the first time in several years and am looking for 4 tickets and a parking pass to the Wednesday, 9/15 game against RSL. I'd love to skip the TM fees and Verified Resale markups if possible and just pay for quality seats (if any of you can't make it and are looking for a buyer).

I thought I'd check here before Reddit and FB...

    Thanks,

    Mike

Turco! I'm sorry I just sold my tickets, but I do have a parking pass that you are welcome to. Free parking might help you pay the Ticketmaster fees. I'm just bummed I won't be around to buy you a beer!

That's awfully kind of you to offer to buy me a beer, but you all are carrying the torch! We just stay up late and stream the games from NC and my kids get celebrity status at school for rockin' the occasional signed jersey...

I could use the parking pass if it's going to waste. Let me know...

Keeping the faith wherever you are is just as important! Plus, it just would have been nice to see you, Yes, it would go to waste, so please use it. PM me an email address and a cell number and I'll work on the transfer.

Looks like resale tickets for the Cruz Azul friendly are listing at pretty high prices. Anyone have any luck actually selling yet?

I listed my $50 tickets for $90. Others near my seats are listed in range of $85-$100.

When I looked, there were moat tickets up for cost so no reason to list then. When/if there are no moat seats available I'll post mine for ~5x and see what happens.

Tell us if the seats are moving, and I will go list ours!
I didn’t even check this out, cuz I thought we could not re-sell bonus game tickets.

No sales yet, but I just checked ticketmaster and my neighbors are undercutting me by almost half.

This is annoying - this AM, I tried to use the Quakes app on my phone to list my Cruz Azul tickets for sale. It wouldn't let me specify account credit, so I tried again, and then it gave an error, and so I gave up and figured I'd do it on my computer when I got home.

But by the time I got home, I received an email that my tickets for the Oct-20 Austin game had sold. So apparently I listed the wrong game for sale. Stupid app. Actually, what is shocking is that someone was so anxious to go to the Austin game, although I did list the tix at a loss.

And now I've listed the Cruz Azul tix. I asked the hispanic guy who sits behind me if he wanted the tix, but he says the game is the same time that Mexico plays Canada in WCQ, and no Mexican will be coming to watch the Cruz Azul friendly.

If anyone wants my parking pass for the Austin game, let me know...

We don't sell tickets to games we can't make. We give them to people.

You're fortunate. I never had any luck giving away tickets. Our league gets offered free tickets now -- including tickets in a suite earlier in the season -- and no one on the board would take them.

Thanks for the info. So I reduced the price to my Cruz Azul tickets and they sold.

You're lucky, I reduced mine as well and they haven't sold yet. Looks like I'll need to take a loss on this one.

In the worst case we'll go to the game.

I won’t be able to go to this game so I did take a loss but at least it was not a total loss.
