I'm going to guess that's what it was. I had chills to the point my teeth were rattling EVEN WHILE wearing thick socks and two sweaters on top of my long sleeved shirt. And sweatpants. Like I said, I never had it before, so I think that was the flu....If my addled brain remembers correctly, I was also vomiting, and couldn't eat anything for a couple of days.

This is true. I prefer my managers doing cocaine. That's how you prepare for a match.

People on here absolutely hated Bob. I was sad to see him go myself. I thought he did a great job with the player pool available to him.

    That's a really weird expectation.

Well we only called 26 in. Weah and Reyna are out for sure. Dest sprained his ankle so he's likely out. Pulisic just played 90 after covid and plays in a couple of days, not ideal. GGG said its still to be determined on Weston's status.

It is a little silly. Not like his hotel doesn’t have a tread mill or he couldn’t act like a real leader and wake up before the team to get his run in.

In the grand scheme of things, his run is a small thing to pick on. But when you choke back-to-back in World Cup qualifying, everything comes into question.

Tied for 3rd in the 8 team table is a miracle. The same points as the "guaranteed "9 points" US; If the US played with about 10% of these kids heart; they would have 6 points. But, Home ties are now a thing in the horrible 3 matches in 7 day grind. Because you need talent and heart. Only team showing that now is Mexico.

During the 1990 World Cup, I had some kind of hepatitis-mononucleosis hybrid. I had the same symptoms, plus temperatures up to 104.

    Weird huh?

Our WC campaign is in meltdown mode two games in. Marsch’s MLS and Austrian accomplishments are fine but we’re up against the wall here. Maybe he’ll do well in Germany and coach the US one day—this just isn’t the time.

Yeah that's crazy. No wonder he got fired from the 2nd Swedish division. Why is he the coach again?

not to mention if aaronson hasnt played full minutes its pretty close. arriola makes sense- we are in full sell out everything for the road point mode here. mrob and adams have played full minutes as well.

weve got plenty of cbs, and acosta for adams always made sense for this one. 3 atb is likely so i guess roldan and lletget being fine in terms of minutes is a bright side? cause we got no one else for the cm. then there yedlins on heavy minutes and, you know, hes yedlin. him or a questionably available dest on the right?

turning my full attention to honduras is gonna suck...

It is NOT Gregg’s fault because this job requirement is WAY OVER his egg head anyway.

Gregg’s attack is about set pieces. Mile Robinson didn’t finish his header this game too. Blame him. About attack? What attack? Canada should win this game when they had 2 more crosses nobody wants

Brian Schmetzer should be a leading candidate. If he would leave Seattle. Talk about a coach whose team is consistently on top form.

Does he have your permission to poop before the game too, or should he hold it? Just trying to get a clear picture on where you draw the line,

Why are we getting hung up on useless shit like GGG running around before the match? He sucks, we all know it.
What are realistic managerial hires that have some modicum of tactics and subbing in a timely manner that can be made soon? We're probably going to have to steal from MLS which i know is the 8th deadly sin on this board, but it's not like we have Tuchel banging on our door at this point. All that matters is getting to 20ish points in wcq, and considering the death window at the end, we probably need to get almost all of them in the next 9 matches.

I'd say. We need a manager who actually understands tactics.

The game he got fired for was unfair. He needed 70 minutes of a healthy Cherudolo to win a gold cup with a roster held together with duct tape.

The Westin suspension and his coach out jogging says a lot to me. There's no leadership; again!. The kids are starting to believe their own press.; arrogance. I see a bunch of guys dialing it in.

    I’m all for open toilets...

Put me in charge and let people ******** around. I’ll 550 cord everyone together until they think their battle buddy is an extension of themselves.

Hell, maybe some team building would be good for us.

During the 2010 World Cup I had dry sockets from removing wisdom teeth that immediately led to a bad cold. Spent the whole week of a family beach trip in bed and missed the USA-England game.
