Welcome back and hope to see you participate with us here.

Americans were also hyping up Jamaica too, Canada arguably have the best two players in Concacaf but as a team they have proven nothing to suggest that they are the clear number 3 in Concacaf.

That’s the thing, we have seen teams with one or two good players but can’t do much. I remember Dwight Yorke with Man U killing it but was practically useless with the Trinidad and Tobago NT. Jamaica is still a question mark since they tend to perform in the Gold Cup but struggle in WCQ.

Well it looks like a tough place to play at, I do believe the Salvis will be over flowing with confidence with their draw vs USMNT. I think if Honduras can utilize their speed on the wings and create over lapping runs, we can win this. If there’s a road game where we can get all 3 points this is it.

We would be putting ourselves in a bad position if we don’t at least get a point away, our last game will likely be against a Healthy USA team with Pulisic coming back.

That is a must win game either way since it’s a home game.

I also hope that Panama and Costa Rica will be able to hold Mexico back otherwise they are likely to lock down 1st place if they manage to win both games away.

Julio Cesar Cruz who writes for diez said he thinks we'll snatch 7 points this WCQ window.

Fingers crossed men. I agree with @DCatracho17

Man both those teams looks pedestrian af. CR and Panama should almost be automatic 3 points at home each. Away from home I think we'll snatch 2 or 4.. 6 would be unbelievable

We should be winning at home vs an aging CR team or the new generation of Panama’s NT . My biggest worry is if Honduras can stay healthy,We can’t have our regular starters injured.

I don't share you optimism but I like your confidence.

We should definitely be aiming for 6 points at home but I see it been laboured. Away from hopefully we can steal as many points as possible.

Panama has got a decent contingent playing in Europe now, they've got quite a few in Segunda in Span and few others scattered round. We only just beat them in Copa Oro. We always give Costa Rica a game in San Jose to be fair but they won't be giving points away.

    Pero vamos porque no!

Both teams look incredibly poor. We should realistically sweep both teams as long as we enter those contests healthy.

CR is aging terribly whereas Panama couldn't even handle us with a bevy of our starters out. Kevin Alvarez was the other CB during that game, remember that..

Outside a mental aspect, I don't see why we shouldn't be able to impose ourselves on two teams that are seemingly In poor form

I only just realised Kevin Arriaga played the 90... I think we've got a talent with a big future with la seleccion there.

Could Rubio play that creative midfield role tonight?

Got a feeling Choco and el Romantico are going to have a memorable night in El Cuzcatlan tonight..

Lozano is due a big performance, I can't think of one stand out game of his in the national team shirt.

Danilo Acosta starts, alongside a centre back pairing of Johnny Leveron and Jose Garcia. Very interesting.

Ufff Rigo Rivas, Lozano and Quioto front three.

    Meh first half.

Seem content with a point in ES.

Hopefully we push a bit for a winner.

So we found a result in ES considering we rested ALOT of players for the USA game next.

Coito is building some serious depth. I'd imagine a player like Elis breaks down that ES defense. Leveron and Garcia were solid.. overall decent match. And considering how defensive we were in our Mid-block to high press, we could've came away with 3 points with that corner.

    Onwards n upwards!

How did Acosta do? A tie is favorable considering he used an alternative line up.

Eh, decent. Can tell he's a bit rusty due to his lack of playing time for LAFC, but ultimately faired better than Dest against Jairo Henriquez.

My dad was born in Tela.I cheered for Honduras (only time I've ever cheered against the US, while listening to Salvador Nasralla) in the 2009 Conor Casey match. The US needs 3 points in Honduras on Wednesday.
