A lot of countries outside of the Western hemisphere don't really give a damn about Covid, they're living their lives.
You’re apparently unaware that for various historical and cultural reasons, East Asian countries were far more diligent than the West regarding mask wearing. but you go on with your Q/MAGA self.
China wears mask because of pollution....yeah, that's a thing in Cina. No other countries wear masks walking around while conducting their daily lives. But go ahead with your cancel culture.
I don't really want to continue this derailment I inadvertently started but this is demonstrably false. Most E and SE Asian countries have a long and accepted practice of masking for even simple things like the common cold and for pollution, to limit sun exposure, etc but those are social issues of a different stripe. If you visit those places or work or live with people recently from those places you'll see for yourself.
That you comment so confidently about a subject you obviously know so little about is simply... by virtue of the fact that I am reading something you wrote here...I am assuming you have access to this thing we call the internet. Among its many fantastic features are tools called search engines where you can ask your computer or phone anything about any subject you’re interested in and they return voluminous information about said subject. You should find one of these exotic areas of the internet and learn exactly why Vietnam has controlled the Covid spread in their country. Since you’re obviously interested in how countries like Vietnam address pandemics, I think you’ll find it worth your time.
He scored yesterday in what appears to have been a wild game that required, this story says, some "police intervention." https://e.vnexpress.net/news/sports...lash-after-intense-v-league-draw-4262174.html

Looks like I jumped the gun a little bit and he's just training while the Vietnamese league is shut down.
Well before Covid, Japan, as well as other Asian countries, were full of folks who wear masks if they suspect they are sick. If you are on public transportation in Japan and appear sick with no mask, you get stared daggers. SARS hit Asia quite hard and left a mark. My kid got quite ill in the train station in Kyoto on the way to Tokyo (food poisoning, most likely.) We were given masks by 4 different strangers in the station, as she looked visibly unwell/feverish.
Living their lives, except, of course, the couple of million dead. They are having some issues with that plan.
Lee Nguyen can't play pro soccer right now, under contract in Vietnam where the league is shut down. So, he came home to DFW, where he's staying fit with North Texas SC, coaching his niece's U-15 team & thinking about what comes next: https://t.co/Tbw7kz2L6J— Jon Arnold (@ArnoldcommaJon) September 8, 2021
Rumors that he might take a coaching position in the NWSL: The Washington Spirit just announced the hiring of Annie Worden as an assistant coach for the rest of the season, but sources have told me there's also another asst coach hire: Lee Nguyen (personally a delight to me as a #NERevs fan). He's in the process of getting his B license.— Meg Linehan (@itsmeglinehan) September 25, 2021
With the Spirit, at least for the short term: Washington Spirit has added two assistant coaches:Annie Worden (Player Progression Academy) and ...Lee Nguyen, former MLS star and USMNT midfielder, who at 34, most recently played in Vietnam. Joins staff this week on short-term deal, unclear whether he has retired.#nwsl— Steven Goff (@SoccerInsider) September 26, 2021
Has retired as a player: NEWS | Lee Nguyen retires from professional soccer, re-signs as assistant coach of Washington Spirit— Washington Spirit (@WashSpirit) February 4, 2022
Wow 34 already. Man I feel old. It seems not that long ago when he was at Indiana U. Best of luck to him and his future endeavor.
