I know, right?? Really starting to believe at this point we're going to stay as is in midfield this season. And in typical United fashion, I can absolutely see us going after Rice next summer.
Which I have no real issues with (except for the timing bc a holding mid can't wait): will be expansive though. But he's getting better: started the season on fire (how he's looking right now is exactly what we need in a holding mid) and Ole reportedly loves the guy.
Can see how he could imagine him being one of the final pieces of the jigsaw if nothing changes as expected in midfield.
