Loved Abrahams reaction to being applauded off the field, he seems like the kind of guy to thrive under the great expectations people have of him.

 

Vina made up for the bad game he had on Sunday. He was fantastic today. Seems like a very clever player, picks up nice passes, knows when to tackle, how to position his body. Total opposite from Sunday. Yeah, he seems weak physically, but that can be worked on over time. Karadorp also very solid.

Roger, Veretout, Rui - spectacular.

Although Cristante scored and played a good game, we badly need a good DM to replace him. Hi is just to immobile, doesn’t offer himself enough.

Happy for Zaniolo’s goal, but he had a bad game. Too sluggish, trying too much. I hope all he needs is time.

 

I didnt expect him to be this mobile. Perhaps its just the years of being conditioned by watching Dzeko move like a slug but seems theres a lot to like. Im sure he will be disappointed to have not scored yet but the performances have been top.

 

He keeps doing what he's doing and he'll start scoring for fun. It would be impossible for him not to.

Knowing Mourinho, he will try to take this cup seriously and try to win it.

 

Besides Tottenham (who i think we are equal with), there isn't a team better than us.

 

Perfect performance and result, nothing to criticise. I was very happy to see Cristante and Zaniolo score. I thought Trabzon played good football at times but we held our ground, Patricio was a big reason with that great save.


One game left before the international break, then the real season starts against Sassuollo.

It’s so refreshing to have a left footed LB who can dribble, is quick, and can use his right foot.

 

They’re not nearly as good as last year, should be a cakewalk

 

They are in second place in the league only two points behind leaders Molde at the half-way point.

 

Yeah but the Norwegian league is very low quality, last year they swept the league.

 

Yes I dont think they're too fear for Roma but ouf of the names in the bottom 2 seeded groups they're the most interesting given what they've done over the past 2 seasons. Wouldnt be too harsh on your Norwegian league. Been watching quite a bit this year and theres pretty good quality to it.
