What a crop of talented players we now have, producing some of the most beautiful football I can remember at the club at least since the 1980s.

Eze is the most glamorous of the crop. Smooth silky skills. Dribbles effortlessly, glides past players at will, seems to have an unnatural ability to accelerate past players without any obvious effort. Score and supplies sublime goals.

BOS is my personal favorite for the effort that he puts in. Has such strength and determination. Seems to be involved in every goal, one way or another. And has scored some absolute stunners this season.

Manning -- Is he a winger? Is he a full-back? Is he a midfielder? Warbs likes him in the leftback position and he brings so much to the game from that position when allowed to roam free. Great ability to run with the ball and scare the pants off defenders. Crosses are superb. And he has grabbed some great goals too.

Chair is playing the role of supersub. When he is on the field anything could happen. I suppose Warbs feels like he is too similar to Eze to start. I'm not sure I agree but I'm not manager so who cares. Chair provides creativity, energy, and finese whenever he is added and his appearances have turned around quite a few games.

Amos -- I always like it when Amos starts because he can run with the ball at his feet and is another supplier and creative spark.

Masterson -- he has done well in his few starts so far. He could definitely end up being the long term solution in the center of defense.

There are others waiting in the wings as well. Both our goalies probably count as young (goalies last longer than outfielders, don't they) and Shadipo always seems on the verge of breaking through.

Its a great time to be a Superhoop fan!

Its interesting to look back at that post. Eze and BOS were superb but didnt last long. Manning, Amos and Masterson were out of the picture pretty sharpish too. ll of that talent is gone and yet we are playing better football than we have in years. Go figure!
