That sounds about right. I could possibly see Fierro sticking, if he takes a big pay cut. Same with Alanis. But it doesn't make sense to keep these guys around if they're making close to $1 mil.
Just by the look on his face when he was subbed out and walking slowly. I don't know if he was mad or not it just seemed that way to me.
Over the last 6 games, we're #3 in MLS on points. Extended over the last 8 games, and we're #5. I'd say the turnaround done started.
Matias has beaten Bob Bradley the last two times he played him and now he's beaten Greg Vanney and Brian Schmetzer. Nice improvement indeed.
MA also beat Vanney in the CCL final. Toronto at the time, maybe still, was considered one of the best MLS teams in league history.
lol, I don't think you are answering the actual question. He was asking about your Espinoza leaving if Almeyda leaves comment, not Chofis being subbed out. But, to address your Chofis comment, how many players are happy when they get subbed out? Most players want to stay in the game, and don't like it when subbed.

He doesn't show much emotion even when he scores, or the post game team photos in the locker room. Put the work in for each other. #VamosSJ pic.twitter.com/XJUU0xwx4c— San Jose Earthquakes (@SJEarthquakes) August 22, 2021
He shows more emotion when it's a well-taken goal. If it's a tap-in, not as much, which I kind of like. If you tap it into an open net, no need to act like you just discovered a cure for cancer. BTW I notice Almeyda was relatively reserved after Chofis scored-ish (own goal) in LA too. Augustin showed a lot more emotion. I think Almeyda really wanted the win badly and didn't want to jinx it in any way (though he claims to be non-superstitious). As further evidence how badly Almeyda wanted that one, he really let it fly after the Quakes won.
It is an iconic look for sure. We will be talking about this for years. The very best part is denying he is superstitious.
