While we wait for the Gold Match, it can be worth re-watching highlights from the Bronze medal match. Sorry for the comment in my language (Italian) , but while I was navigating looking for a video I was finding any kind of USA-Australia matches (in volley, in beach-volley...) until I found this one. Hope it's not geoblocked.
I am sorry: normally Eurosport has the English version along with my country's one, but this time I didn't find that video. Let's try with this one (until it lasts)? Its editing is quite frantic and sadly it misses most of the build up of the goals' actions (for instance, it doesn't show the criminal header-backpass by Kennedy that managed to set up Lloyd's second goal); also, uncharacteristically for a so long and rich video, it skips the shot by Press (and the subsequent save by Micah) that led to the Corner Kick goal by Rapinoe. On the bright side, the video even has little bits of pre-game and it shows the possible penalty sitiuation (rewieved by VAR) on Rapinoes in 1st Half. I really wish Kerr's header that hit the inner-post had gone in: a 4-3 so early in 2nd Half would have made for a very exciting last part of the game. Can anyone update me on what Rapinoe has written on the inner side of her left arm?

(From the other threads) I...kinda predicted it early last year, but I was definitely kidding. Mea culpa Canada Women's Soccer 2020–2029: le jeu long https://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/2108163/ ^ It's mayhem over there, 3 new posts. Well then, more of you should go and congratulate them! It's a "penta-trick", the best kind of trick! (So-called in Russia and Ukraine, at least.)
I did a comparison to the men's tournament just because I was curious: Number of YC's given: 141 (average of 4.4 per game) Number of RC's given: 11 (3 were indirect red) Total number of penalty kicks called: 13 Highest number of fouls called in a game: 50 (in semifinal between Brazil and Mexico) Lowest number of fouls called in a game: 13 (in France-South Africa) Avg number of fouls called in a game: 28.59 I knew the men's tournament would have more cards, but I was still a bit surprised by how much more. The other thing that stood out to me was the number of penalty kicks called, which was about the same, despite the fact the men's tournament has more matches (32 total as compared to 26) and a higher number of fouls. I'm not sure if you can draw conclusions from it, but it is interesting.
