All of these teams throwing insane amounts of money on strikers this summer are going to regret not just waiting one more year for Haaland’s release clause to activate.
Looks like what they did to the Chinese clubs in a matter of months. That club that went from winning the title to closing its doors. Conte obviously knew this was to come so got out before the smoke grew. Are they going to take the transfer value they can get and run with the money leaving Inter with a midtable team or administrational relegation sometime in the near future?

Radja should have never left Roma when he did but now at 33, I think he is a litte too old to make a difference.
Seems like an appropriate time to bring back this masterpiece: نادي الانتر يعلن عن فسخ عقد ناينغولان بالتراضي الاعب مبادله كان مع زانيولو pic.twitter.com/FvoL8uQOxn— منبر روما (@RomaMnbr) August 10, 2021
Italy are strongly considering bidding for the 2030 World Cup. Would hopefully mean we might actually see a big push to modernize the stadiums, and ideally fast track ours and others’ stadium projects.
Italia 90 actually didn’t help the economy. I think that had to do more with the funding , constructing and/or refurbishing of the stadiums though. Winning World Cup 1982 really helped save the economy and Prime Minister Giovanni Spadolini's job as it was on shaky ground. Not sure what impact the 2006 WC or this year’s Euro had but I think the wins helped the economy.
Probably most World Cups are more of a drain on the host countries. Only exceptions may be places like England or the US that already have the infrastructure in place to host one. Going into Brazil 2014 there were huge protests because the government was spending billions on the tournament when poverty was so bad. I believe it was the same with South Africa as well.

Daniele De Rossi has announced he is leaving Roberto Mancini’s Italy staff, as he ‘feels ready’ for his first job as head coach https://t.co/OIYErlRUMg #ASRoma #Italy #Azzurri #Euro2020— Football Italia (@footballitalia) August 13, 2021
“Sometimes people talk about football as if it was something for scientists, they want to over-complicate everything. Instead, real class acts like Mancini are the ones who simplify it." De Rossi is a class act.
Radja goes back to Belgium. Antwerp built an impressive side last couple of seasons. Will be interesting to see the push Radja can give them.
Totti and Spalletti in their second run when Francesco was 40 years of age kind of soured but in Luciano's first run at Roma, they seemed to love each other.
Except we now know that bald f&cks have zero football knowledge and that Spalletti was always a classless act like his pal Sal. Moronchi, Petrachi, Spalletti, Nzonzi... the latest bald f*ck to close the door on their way out. No Hair = No Flair
