I think the other defender could have maybe got a foot on the shot. Awarding a penalty AND a red is a huge blow especially when one team is getting their butts handed to them. I'm cool with the ref keeping em even.

 

Looked to me like that other defender was on the other side of the 6 and not Even part of the play. He’s a step away from shooting. And the stuff about one team getting destroyed is completely irrelevant…

 

That definitely should have been DOGSO red in my eyes.
