I was hoping to play Antuna and lainez together for 10-15 mins and see what they could do with some speed. Taking cordova out would have done that, then bring in Angulo for antuna

 

Vega was dead tired already . I think antuna sub was mistake.

Agreed. He’s simply not going to dance around these Brazilians. We were better served to have Antuna’s pace. He still looked fresh when he was subbed. Hard to keep a player like Lainez off the pitch though. Could still prove to be the difference.

 

I’m proud of the effort despite the sloppy play but our boys look dead in the water right now on fitness :/ the plan’s probably to hold on for pens
