Nah I actually want Kane to win something in his prime. I Respect him as a player. Him staying in spurs will just wear him down. Plus he probably wants to win something even more after the Euro finals.

Guardiola's experience with CFs is quite mixed. He might join City and be in for somebody that has him track back, received the ball with his back to the goal at the center of the field and play through balls to Foden.

Also just two more seasons on his contract. 2023 is going to be a big summer for the club, feels like half the team's contracts are ending at that point.

Kane is a dirty ********. Hope he rots on Tottenham’s bench for the rest of his contract.

Håland and Mbappé are not joining the same team. It's either one or the other.

Just watched the Mexico - Brazil shootout at the Olympics. Ochoa is such a wack GK, he correctly guessed the direction and touched the ball in almost all penalties but he has butter fingers. Couldn't stop a single PK.

At that level you need a ton of energy / stamina, etc., and Slowsensio is way out of his element.

I keep reading 2023 all the contracts are up and get excited, then I realize that's not next summer and it's going to be a long time before we see those new players

Classic Asensio, now everybody will gloss over how bad he's been and view him with the rose tinted glasses for a few months until they take them off and start to see clearly but he somehow still gets on the field and does it again in a year. Rinse and repeat since 2016.

Asensio as a starter is bad. He is fine substitute player

He does have an absolute fine striking technique... but man most of the time he is awful to watch.

    As I’ve said before:

Elite/world class technique striking the ball, it just detonates off of his foot with seemingly minimal effort

    AND

Great vision for finding teammates in the box with stupendously accurate crosses in from the wings when he gets into those positions

But there’s really not much else that I’ve ever seen.

As others have said, useful squad player but not a dude I want starting with any regularity.

Doesn't contribute enough over the course of a season IMO, i've seen this same story every year i'm sure we can do better, even at sub level, if we think about the starters, everyone is fit and Mbappe miraculously happened to turn up, i'd prefer Rodrygo, Gareth ( yup even him) and LV get on the pitch before Marco, surplus to requirements for me

He's not RM quality and unlike LV doesn't have the ability to play multiple positions. Would be a very good signing for a 2nd tier La Liga side and less pressure would probably improve his consistency but I'm not sure wages would work.

Nor just the basic instinct to fight for the team when the going gets tough, even if everyone thinks LV lacks some technical quality or overplays his hand at times thinking he's better than he actually is, the one thing we know we will get that might help us to a result is that he will fight from the first min he's on the pitch until the last, that counts for something as well, not that infuriating, lackadaisical, nonchalant demeanour that we more often than not see from Marco even when we are struggling, just not good enough

For all the praise some have given Barca for their transfer activity - watching them scramble to figure out how to make the numbers work to register Messi after "slashing" his wages on his new 5 year deal has been hilariously embarrassing. Can't wait to see them flex their accounting gymnastics to incorporate this new La Liga cash injection (rumored to be in the tune of 260 Mil Euros for us) to make this deal happen even though it's strictly not allowed to be used for signings and transfers.

Sounds like nonsense to me, the Inter owners have practically backed out of the project and even slashed funding like expansion of a training center and so on.

Seems highly illogical to me that an actual offer like that happened and they turned it down.

Seems to me like the Håland talks, a lot of reporting but not much behind it. Dortmund would have had to disclose an offer to its shareholders, so we would've known its legit.

It says Inter have received an offer of £85m which includes Marcos Alonso which makes it ambiguous as to how much cash they’ve been offered.

Inter spent £76m on Lukaku and he’s on the back of his best personal season in his career. Not surprising an offer like that got rejected as they know they could get more if they want it. If it happened.

Should opt for Real Sociedad. If he does well there, could return to RM next summer as Vinicius expected to get Spanish citizenship this September.
