Out of all the young Brazilians we've been linked to over the years, Kaio Jorge is the one we actually might sign? Sometimes I just can't understand our administration...
Kaio Jorge is 19 years old, he'd be a backup forward which is what we need and he has a lot of upside. Locatelli alone won't fix the midfield issues, but if they can get Pjanic on a 2 year loan with reduced wages that will alleviate things a bit (even if I think Pjanic is not a very good player). We need to get rid of some dead weight, but they make such ridiculously high wages that no one wants them.
Kai Jorge has already left Brazil and is flying to Italy. 1421808119781408769 is not a valid tweet id
The reaction of Santos fans is interesting: they're either extremely bitter he didn't renew, calling him a mercenary, or they're dismissing him as Gabigol 2.0. It's hard to find a neutral assessment of his overall quality, because I don't trust Youtube highlights.
Kaio Jorge will be in Turin tomorrow to complete the deal. Rabiot is out for at least 3 weeks, they will assess him in 10 days.
Deal completed and confirmed. Merih Demiral will join Atalanta on loan with buy option [NO obligation] from Juventus, agreement reached on personal terms too. 🇹🇷🤝 #JuveNo BVB move for Demiral - he will be Cristian Romero replacement at Atalanta [joining Tottenham]. https://t.co/QVw78rmNKq— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) August 3, 2021
So we're going into the season with injury prone Chiellini, average Bonucci and De Ligt as CBs. Cool.
Rugani and Dragusin as well. I want to see more of Dragusin. Let's be real though Demiral was injured a lot while at Juve so it's not like we're missing him that much.
Rugani is a non factor, we all know how useless he is. Dragusin is a kid, we can't really rely on a guy who has never played any big games. Don't think its smart going into the season with just these guys.

Reports that Juve are entertaining the idea about a swap deal involving Rugani and Milenkovic, who will not sign a new deal with Fiorentina. GdS claims that Milan are thinking about taking Ramsey on loan.
I wonder if Jorge will get much playing time this year. Throwing him into the deep end right away might not be the best move. I think having him in the first team will be good and maybe playing him against the lesser Serie A sides. Same should be done with Dragusin (assuming they both remain and don't go on loan or anything).
I think they pursued Jorge so much was to act as the backup, I'd be surprised if he started many games, especially early on. We have Ronaldo and Morata up front, and Dybala when he's not injured.
Yes, I think that was the thinking behind the move now as opposed to December. I think both Jorge and Dragusin should get some minutes if not in Serie A at least the Coppa.

I hope this kid comes good, at least the price isn't crazy if he doesn't. His youth numbers and the things hes done with U-17 Brazil are impressive, hopefully he can translate that to Europe.
Locatelli deal is looking less and less likely. This is one shit summer so far in terms of transfers. Only a couple weeks left in the market.
