Lo que es claro es que con Martino no vamos a hacer nada importante.

The problem is deeper than that. We have gone through around 7-10 head coaches (give or take) in the last decade or so with the same generation of players.

Let’s see, in the last decade or more, we have had an almost failing to qualify for the World Cup, 7-0,4-1,3-0 Sweden, two regional championship losses etc all that coincide with Soccer United Marketing’s takeover (early 2000s) of the Mexican National team’s matches played in the USA and the incorporation of MLS based players into the Mexican National team. What we do have is el Chicharo with 28 goals in those SUM sponsored matches.
