With this group we even have the option of playing 3-5-2 or 5-3-2 or 4-4-2 with Zardes and Hoppe up top. There is a lot of flexibility built into this lineup. I'd be tempted to go with Sands and Acosta as double 6s.
I agree it will likely start like this, but I agree it gives them some flexibility to move people around.

Yep, will be interesting if it is more 352 or 433. With this personnell, it could be either, or both. Got 10/11 with my player selections. Inly miss was Vines/Bello. With Mexico's speed & quickness, I get it.
Given the roster, I really like the lineup a lot. whatever happens its a good test and also shows that the coaches are paying attention. happy to see williamson and bello in there. I dont think that vines beat out bello based on performance (even though he didnt do poorly) and I have a feeling that mexi might have targeted vines...so will be a good test for bello...but i think he will be ready. I think bello can support hoppe better than vines did. Williamson is also a strong option. I am not concerned as other are about his giveaways. All of the team gives the ball away way too much basically. I do wonder if he will play too safe, depending on what the coaching staff has told him. In the first minutes against qatar he was playing very cautiously before getting into the game and playing great. Excited to see how he does. Arriola needs to finally do something - anything - hes done zilch all tourney. look for giaocchini to come in for him at some point.
