I think Lozano will hold back Romo a lot more against Brazil along with Charly, with Cordova having more freedom to help Vega and Antuna in the attack. Martin doing the same job of battling the center backs to allow Vega and Antuna more chances to get 1 v 1. In this game vs S.K Mexico was attacking with a lot more players, they will need to have a better balance and shape against Brazil. I know Lozano likes to play 4-3-3, but I think if he does make a tactical change it will to a 4-2-3-1. Vega-Cordova-Antuna trio behind Martin.
He’s also a hothead who commits a ton of stupid fouls. I hope Martin pisses him off so he gets off his game. Martin has been good the past couple of games and I hope he continues that.
Apparently being a man means you can have fun with lookalike comparisons, what a world Fellas, is it gay to notice a man looks like another man
Once this tournament is over, he needs to move to coaching a club first and succeeding if he wants to coach the senior team.
He needs to go to a club first and win a title? That sounds like some jerarquia bullshit to me. Besides none of the LigaMX want to deal with the pressures of the job aside from a few clowns like Piojo. Jimmy coached in Queretaro, played in Mexico his whole life. He understands the Mexican footballer. His job with the Olympic team has more long-term experience than some coach in LigaMX who is pressured to win short tournaments with no long-term strategy for the clubs.
People should remember we won Olympic gold with freaking Luis Fernando Tena. I'm not sold on Lozano for this yet not because of his lack of experience but some of his moves. People should remember 2012 and that although it's super great and super beneficial for Mexico what we doing in Tokyo, it's also probable it will not "save us" either.
Mexico’s fútbol culture needs to change as a whole. The style of play is heavily outdated and ffs their nutrition of players and physical training of players is laughable. Did you know they consistently serve the youth teams quesadillas for lunch?
Hiring him would be like when England hired Gareth Southgate, makes sense. Checks boxes that Tena didn't, I don't remember many wanting him for the job back then.
As long as the fans keeping selling out the moleros and buying those hideous jerseys, the culture will never change, unfortunately.
