Perhaps worth noting that the bench has no clear first teamers aside from Mendy. And Miazga! (Edit: Not to say that Miazga is a first teamer but you knew that already.)

Looks mostly like a “For Sale” line-up.

I didn't read his post as "exclusive from corners", that's what he intended and I missed it and said as much after a bit of back and forth and clarification. Sometimes it takes a minute.

The game is streaming on YouTube. Just search the team names.

    HT - 0-0

Pulisic not really involved as nearly everything went down the right, with Ziyech, CHO and Abraham combining for a chance or two. Pulisic not getting the ball much, but has been clean with it and isn't forcing anything that isn't there. Defensively, he has been pressing, along with the rest of the guys up top.

Pretty pedestrian outing for CP in his 45 minutes. Didnt do much. Got played in on goal by Hudson Odoi, but took a bad first touch. Other than that wasnt involved at all really.

Tough to say it was a bad first touch, considering it was a long ball over the top that I thought was a bit behind him and he needed to take down in traffic. He did maintain possession and lay the ball off for Abraham, who wasted it. Chelsea could be up a couple if Abraham brought his finishing boots. Though I only saw it once so maybe I didn't see it right.

Yeah, but they were being kind to Abraham as well. Abraham was pretty terrible. Though I do think Pulisic was fine. He did everything I would expect from him. Had he brought down the one long ball over the top and slotted past the keeper on the fly, it would have been a great play, rather than an expected play.

Exactly what I was thinking. Looks like a sales demo.

I don't think so - the Copa America and Euros players aren't back

I think it is the Chelsea TV team, which means they are definitely biased.

Maybe partially, but lots of the missing players need their extended break after their tournaments, while CP's national team responsibilities have been over for seven weeks.

Gotta figure after the CL win and the Nations League win, Christian should have picked up an additional sponsor or two.

It hasn't been announced yet, but between groupergate and his dad saying he needed to be better on "D", something is surely in the works.

Mostly a fluff piece but some interesting quotes there in light of Simon Biles and the general pressure on athletes.

We've come a long way in society. If this was 2014, Pulisic might be blackballed from the USMNT.

I thought I saw that Miazga came on at HT. Is that correct? Did anyone watch?

He did. Wasn't really noticeable, don't think he was involved with AFCB's goal

The goal was scored from a guy making a run behind where MM was standing. The sequence that led to the goal also included a backpass from MM that Mendy couldn't handle. I wouldn't really blame him for Mendy's issues with the backpass or the goal, but he was certainly involved in what happened.
