Good idea but Grandsir hasn't been known to chip, Cabral should've been more forward.

 

Dang why was Grandsir the only person willing to run? He had to force a shot because everyone was a mile away from the cross.

 

Yeah, Cabral should be crashing the box at full stretch there, but I'm not sure he's got those striker instincts. I think what feeds his perception as doddering is he's not really clear-minded in situations like those.

 

We only have one physically old midfielder. And we have a lot of young players - no excuse for us getting out-hustled.

 

Sasha please stop dropping back. You don't have the legs to get forward.

Vazquez has an excuse to be tired at minute 60 - not at minute 10.

 

Someone has to drop back as a DM into the middle in front of our back 4. That has been our biggest weakness.

that was good ball movement and a good effort.

 

I was just mentioning elsewhere, that while it's good to have a finesse team, you also need to be able to grind out victories on the proverbial "rainy night in Stoke". You need a style players can execute on turf or at altitude. I would probably have started another hard man in midfield, replacing either Sacha or Vasquez with like Saldana or something for this match.

Edit: Because if we're not going to stiffly out-possess RSL tonight, it's gonna be a long night for Rayan.
