    So ghuei is off to Palace for first team football. White is joining arsenal. Tomori is a regular at Milan. Gomez is back for Liverpool. Plus we have maguire stones mings. Plus the possibility of konsa. Our centreback options aren't too bad

    Yeah, hopefully there will be no need to call up the likes of Dier and Keane again in the future.

    Gomez shouldn't even be in the conversation before he goes a full season without being injured

    Absolutely. At least, with the dropping of the away goals rule in European competition, there is going to be more opportunity for 'real life' shootout experience for players from the clubs involved.

    I often wondered why England didn’t arrange for a shootout at the end of friendlies. Obviously not the same pressure as a tournament but better than nothing.

    It's easy to say this, but if we do similar and get picked off in ET then everyone criticises him for being naive etc....

    It would have been easy to just try and chuck our best XI out vs Germany, and lose 3-2 because their WBs had something going and then we are back to where we were with the Golden Generation........tournament football is the most results business there is

    Fair points. I think there is a bit of middle ground though and a couple of a changes should have been made around the 60 minute mark.

    Trippier -> Sancho
    and maybe Mount -> Grealish

    I'd have personally gone Sancho for Mount - needed pace in that wide role and so important when you have already sacrficed an attacker to have gone 352.

    Then if still getting little joy you look to change the shape up

    Great news for England… two top keepers pushing each other.

    As much as I've lobbied for Pickford to be England's #1 and how well he did in the Euros, I think Henderson has a higher ceiling than him.

    Looks like rlc might get a chance at Chelsea. Maybe he could be the answer to our midfield creativity

    He was pretty poor for us a Fulham. Its not like we struggled for possesion either. He had flashes where he physique gave him chances but he didn't do anything with them. I actually felt he too safe in his passing, which is poor in a number 10.

    I would be very much surprised, if RLC could be the answer to any question.

    I'd be very surprised if RLC wasn't moved on later in the window. He's lost some of his athleticism after his injury and frankly just doesn't look much good based on his Fulham performances.

    Yeah, he’s nowhere near the England set up these days and I very much doubt he will be again in my opinion. Was a big fan of his a while back but sadly injuries and never kicking on, probably due to injuries have curtailed his career sadly.

    Talk tonight of Harry Winks to Everton, think if anything that moves him further from England recognition as we need to get some CMs playing regular CL football

    Seems fairly unlikely that Spurs will reach the CL either though. Regardless, if this is the difference between him playing or not, it can only be a good thing for England. He's not going to get called up if he's stuck on the bench.

    Actually, just to add that I would say Joe Willock has a better chance of getting a call up ahead of RLC so that tells you how far away RLC is these days and that’s not to discredit Willock who is a good player but obviously is still quite some way from a call up.

    A good video to show what separates him from the others in my opinion:

    You know a player is good when you can make an 8 minute video of him making through passes.
