    What are you talking about?

In 10 games of the Gold Cup we've seen one 4 goal win and two 3 goal wins.

Euro 2020 saw six 3 goal games and a 5 goal game in the group stages, a 4-0 game in the round of 16, and a 4-0 game in the quarters.

Copa America was a bit more competitive, but it was also bad soccer to watch with all the flopping and whining happening non stop.

Flopping can be a fine art when it's perfected--but it takes many years to be a master of that type of kung-fu.

Here's hoping that Team USA wears the traditional white jersey tonight rather than that weird blueberry and boysenberry thing they wore in their first game. It's strictly my own opinion, but soccer jerseys always look better when they are kept simple. Nike tried too hard with that Gold Cup away jersey.

I'm guessing this ref isn't used to VAR. Way too long a review for an obvious miss.

I think that PK just took away all breath from Haiti. It's a real shame because Haiti was playing well, but such is football.
    3-1 Canada.

Lol, Haitian number 5 tried telling his keeper which way to go. Keeper went wrong way and number 5 pointed the right way.

He threw his hands up like "I told you!!"

    After on field review... penal.

    That's the dagger.
I've been reminding people that Haiti and Canada just played each other twice recently and quite a few of these Gold Cup teams have been playing in Qualifying as well. These teams have been playing together for a while. Meanwhile, the US threw together a team that's missing parts. This isn't the same US team that won Nation's League and should not be expected to be the same as that team. The problem is that it is becoming more difficult for the US to not prioritize this meaningless Concacaf money grab and still move on. This is a strange year with how everything is aligning.

Red Card and it's going to be a 2nd PK for Canada.
What a shame---the goal difference is going to completely eliminate Haiti from anything further in this tourney.

the ref's face reminds me of Chiqui Marco a little bit. Good ol' Chiqui Marco is doing commentary for TUDN these days as a studio guest.

I hope Berhalter has Roldan playing as a number 10 positionally and let's him play his Sounders role he has been playing all season.

I had the perfect image for Canada if they had scored 1 more goal, but I guess that won't happen now.

The final scoreline will read 4-1, but the game on the field was much closer. Anyway, Haiti is now eliminated but i appreciated their hard work in this tourney. They have one more game to play before going home.

On to the USA game----do you think it will be a close score like 1-0 or 2-1 or do you think it will be a comb?

Wow the TUDN commentators are saying there are 7 changes to the USA lineup from the 1st game.
Unless Berhalter is actively trying to give minutes to all his guys, i think this many changes in the starting lineup may be a bit too overconfident.
