I've heard how it's unfair that it's at Wembley but it's absolutely nonsense to me. The hosts usually make it far anyway, and honestly, it's one ball and 11 players on both sides, if both teams are equal, then we can get into the bonus stuff, feels like excuses to me. Germany played all their crucial matches at home and almost didn't make it out of the group stage.
I just watch the show for laughs at this point. Julien Lauren, Sid Lowe and occassionally Gab Marcotti try to bring some seriousness to the discussions but everyone else just treats most matters with such levity.
Nervous for tonight. Denmark have a togetherness and spirit that has played a crucial role in helping them get this far. and on top of that they are not a bad side anyway. If we approach it like we did against Ukraine then we have enough to get through, if we approach it in the way we did the Scotland or Czech games then its not going to be a comfortable night for us
We have a great game on our hands tonight. We get to watch the best team in history play. And England too.
Ok, so home-advantage is just a myth, doh..... Fair enough with the home court. But never in the history of this cup (or the WC for that matter) is there a limitation of around 10 percent of the counterpart (additionally these "fans" must reside in uk already, making them practically neutral) Its a joke, and Uefa should have moved the location.
Playing a home match and a home match for the final Englands best chance may not be like this again for a long time
The Danes play great football, if that was anyone but Walker there they would have been 1 v 1 on goal.
Come on England. Sterling man. Weak shot. Danes best chances are the long ball over Maguire and Stones.
England looks like they are going to destroy Denmark... Denmark can't keep up with the speed or the pace of play... They are trying to counter, but they're slow so it isn't working
