Euros & Copa America free-kick goals:Lionel Messi 2Everyone else 0— Andy West (@andywest01) July 4, 2021 That's a shocking stat in the Euros. No direct FK goal so far.
Barcelona have offered to release Miralem Pjanic on a free transfer just a year after buying him for 60ME. They'll also let Umtiti leave for free.
Actually the offer was leave now for free and Pjanic responded by pointing at the remaining 45 million in wages left on his existing contract.
Now they have Griezmann on a new video mocking Asian languages saying "ching chong" and a bunch of other random noises put together. It just gets worse for him and the French squad.

Completely forgot about this guy, I remember how he was being hyped to the max when he had his breakthrough at Milan.
Do fans want the World Cup every two years? 😳 pic.twitter.com/YQWgsDCqla— ESPN FC (@ESPNFC) July 5, 2021
If WCs were every 2 years from the beginning, nobody would say it was too frequent. You can make the WC every 2 years and cut the Continental Cups.
World Cup every 4 years is perfect. Copa America had Brazil sending B team the year in 2004. R9, Dinho, Kaka' etc chose not to participate as they wanted rest. Brazil still won with Adriano emerging as the superstar. Same happened in 2007. Kaka didn't participate though he was about to win BDR that season for winning CL with Milan. Think Dinho didn't play either. Robinho was Brazil's star that tournament. That's when the federation decided to have Copa America every four years until they had back to back Copa America's in 2015 and 16. Brazil don't send B teams anymore because it's not the Golden era of them making 3 WC finals in a row. Their performance in WC since 2002 has been underwhelming to say the least Argentina obviously hasn't won Copa for a long time so Messi played in every Copa he was available for. Having WC every two years could devalue the competition as it's traditionally held every four years like the Olympics. Less is more like The Biscuitman said.
Euro 2021 has been pretty good. Maybe Wenger is salty because France went out while being the World Champions. I felt 2018 World Cup was the weakest I have seen (started watching from 1998 WC). At least 2002 had the magic of R9, Rivaldo and Dinho in a team unlike France with Giroud playing Heskey role. All top teams except France were in a transition stage.
with how much the Euros have grown , you basically have a WC every 2 years just without Brazil and Argentina as contenders .
