man, that seems low. not crazy low, but id think at least 15. 24 year old decently dynamic attacker (especially considering prem money).

But apply the logic applied to Sarge: how good is ‘decently dynamic attacker’ that didn’t prevent his team from being relegated? Rasica must not be that good! ;)

Basically, Bremen (and Schalke) players have the double wammy of a Covid market and being relegated. All their players are going to be devalued a bit, it would seem.

edit: Kicker is reporting a 11 MM€ Transfer fee with possibly 2 MM€ add on bonuses later. So, that would mean Bremen needs about 7-9 MM€ more for their goal of 20 MM€ this window.

Rashica probably took the long view and realized his best chance for a decent transfer would come through underwhelming play that helped Bremen get relegated.

A.k.a. The Kane slump. Complete no-show at the Euros to get his value down and force a move lol

He would have killed two attacks by shooting way too early or failing to make the logical pass while you typed that. I think that's why the valuation isn't higher. Good goal scoring numbers until this year, good talent, hopefully a new coach can draw more out of him, and hopefully Bremen sell Sargent anyway.

Something worth keeping an eye on, some big clubs are scouting Sasa Kalajdzic at Euros and it is expected Stuttgart will get between 15 and 25 million Euros for him. They are one of the teams most heavily linked to Sargent. So that transfer will open the door for him

Bremen had a test game on Wednesday 30Jun and Sarge wasn't on the roster. Any more transfer rumors?

As I'm sure you can imagine, that's not the answer we were hoping to hear. This thread should be festive and full of wild speculation. Try not to be such a downer next time.

There must be some team in a top league in dire need of a non-scoring striker.

Well, Andre Silva's (Frankfurts top scorer) has gone to Leipzig... so there's that... seems like last report was Frankfurt was the team most interested.

They also are not likely to bring Luka Jovic back on loan either and Bas Dost left during last season. So their current strikers have a total of 1 goal

First day in training camp. Sargent did not train. According to Werder Bremen he is suffering from jet lag.

'Jet lag' in air quotes? Seriously, is jet lag really a thing?

Let’s see if he trains tomorrow. That will determine whether they are holding him out pending a transfer or not.

Get real. Sargent is not taking Silva's spot.
They are getting the striker from River Plate.
