There are mirror "clubs" on the concourse.

They were originally dubbed West Concourse Club and East Concourse Club. I think those were intended as placeholder names.

Anyway, about 6 weeks ago they renamed them Rail Club and River Club, the former being on the east side and the latter being on the west.

The main difference is that the River Club costs 500 bucks more but food and drinks are "free". The Rail Club coats less.but food and beverages are cash.

 

If anyone had their heart set on grabbing one of those Americana Jerseys with the new crest, it appears that Dick's has stock:

If I wanted a "Chivas After 12 Shots" jersey, I'd pick one up off of EBay.

It still sucks, but I’m at least getting used to it. I hope they keep selling merch that has the two older logos though, would be smart on their part.

For the last ten years I've lived in either Central PA or Southeast OH. Places where everybody wears camo. Kids wear it to school. It's everywhere. There are guys who I have never seen wear anything BUT mossy oak. And there are some places where you feel uncomfortable if you're not.

So I consider myself fully qualified to say that that shit is ugly. Terrible. Real camo lovers wouldn't line the cat pan with that.

 

What the ********?

 

Are other teams rolling out this same garbage or is this solely a product of the Crew's creative braintrust?

So some asshole at MLS HQ on fifth Avenue in New York and some clown who works for adidas, a German company, decided this is what the rubes in flyover USA want?

And people wonder what's wrong with MLS.

 

Lots of teams have a special themed night where they'll honor people, have special warmups, maybe a ribbon patch on their jersey, whatever. Lord knows we've done it countless times. OSU hockey has a weekend where they wear special camouflage jerseys and player last names are all replaced by branches of the armed forces. After the game, the jerseys all get auctioned off for a good cause. It's very cool and very tasteful.

But to do this outside of Veterans' Day or Memorial Day seems...odd at best.

When I see this, you're right. I know "camo is camo" but this seems more like "Grab junior, the shotguns and make sure the truck is full of gas. It's hunt'n season!" than it does "Thank you vets."

And not even those guys with the 12-pt trophy buck would wear this disaster.

If they're going for "Thank you vets" they missed the mark by a mile.

If they're going for some sort of "Gun Club" connection, they also missed the mark.
