England & Italy have swapped mentality over on tactics. If we get their win record then I am happy with that!!

They needed a dose of humility France, no matter how insanely talented they are everywhere.

Apparently Rabiot's mom had a go at Mbappe's father (make your son less arrogant!) and Pogba's mom (sorry excuse lost the ball!).

    This is tremendous.

Her son literally didn't cover his man allowing a free cross for the second goal and he was the worst player on pitch that included mollases Pavard and WorldChampion Lenglet.

    Humans... we are the worst.

With this take everyone needs a dose of humility... including nobodies like you.

    Ready for yours?

That Pogba strike was phenomenal, holy shit. His hair looked amazing too. All the kids in my neighborhood feel 1356% more empowered now thanks to that. JK.

I don't watch many United games but I hear Pogba plays much better with the NT. If he played for us as he does for France, I wouldn't mind him joining us.

People expect him to also put some effort when the opponent has the ball, France have Kante being an absolute machine out there behind him. He's a talented player, but not the player Manchester United expect him to be, Juve also always had players behind him doing the dirty work.

Are you suggesting Scott McTominay & Fred are not as good as Kante?! :D

Pogba had good workmates. This idea he does ever defend or help in defense is silly.

Besides we play with a "Kante" and Kroos. We also have a workhorse like Valverde.

It's the silliest excuse ever. If Pogba plays that level we want him on our team. He fits.

The numbers don't lie, and neither do the lineups, the best Pogba has always been in lineups with protection and minimal defensive responsibility.

The player has been typecasted because he's tall and athletic but in reality he defends like James. If he'd have been viewed as the player he actually is instead of all this "he's a box to box midfielder, he can do it all! he'll win the Balon d'Or!" nonsense, he would have a much better reputation.

If someone said the same of Kroos you would have a panic attack.

The reality is the game is more than stats and people who attempt to only use them do so due to ignorance, trolling or purposely to avoid the truth. I believe you are the latter.

I don’t even know how someone can try to make it seem like Pogba did no defensive work. Then again, if you don't like like guy and always been hellbent on painting him in a negative light you will hang on to anything.

Kante is a bit overrated imo, Matuidi was a beast for France, always appreciated him.

Biggest problem i had with Pogba, other than losing the ball) was that long childish celebration. Got to be smarter than that.

Nobody is saying he does no defensive work, but he turns it off or gives half ass attempts too often for that deep of a position. That's just the way he plays. Nothing wrong with it and that's fine if you outscore the opposition.

Kante was amongst the top 10 midfield players of the Euro in almost every single statistical category, distance covered, passing accuracy, interceptions, tackles, he's a lot like Casemiro who is an absolutely team changing player but doesn't get the credit he deserves because hard work isn't fashionable.

I'd take Kante with my eyes closed, insane player below the surface.

I guess but he's pretty small if that makes sense, seems like he needs to work double as hard or midfield's in trouble, and he seemed a bit fatigued, naturally. And times he's around the box, it's bad. I loved Matuidi even tough he didn't have half of Kante's reputation.

You're free to love Matuidi, especially if you fancy big guys, but Kante is still the better player.

This is like saying Giroud is a better player than Mbappe.

Actually that was what he was saying, you are saying something different which I agree with. However during these Euros he wasn't turning off or giving half-assed attempts; he was staying focused and playing with purpose.

.... which is why I said if it is this version, I am with it. If it's the Manchester one? Nah, I'm good on that.

He wasn't giving half assed attempts because he didn't have to. It's pretty silly for me to assume the player puts on the superman cape when he changes shirts but here we are.

Manchester United have been using him the wrong way since the minute they've signed him.

England basically couldn't have had an easier path to the final. Denmark, Czech Rep and Ukraine are in their way. If they can't make it, they're cursed.

He’s a lazy player without the ball, either that or he just doesn’t care enough, which I doubt, but this has always been my personal opinion having watched him play

I certainly wouldn’t want to see him and Toni on the same team, Case would be fighting for his life all game long, that’s why Luka works in that three, a much better two way player, both Luka and Pogba are good at going forward but Luka is head and shoulders above him without the ball, just a better all round player and fit for us, we’d need someone like that to replace him, Fede IMO is the better fit.

It’s funny to see the media trying to figure out whose fault it is as to why France lost . Where there mistakes done ? Sure . But Sometimes you also have to give credit to the opposition. Even if it was an unexpected result .

Having said that , with Mbappe’s tournament performance , it’s interesting to see fingers being pointed everywhere but at him . If that was Neymar who put out those performances , the Brazil (and maybe international too) media would be merciless .

Apparently Pavard and Varane also had a go at Pogba's defensive effort. You have to give it to the French, when they implode they go all out with the drama.
