Together with Fox Sports World, GolTV provides some early content before the “explosion” of streaming. Respect.
I need Cloud DVR since I very rarely watch anything live and need HD, so Fubo is out because they require a base package and I'm not giving up DTV at this point. Gol told me they are negotiating with Sling, so hopefully that will happen soon and hopefully the channel will be included on the international pacakge or Fanatiz will adopt a Cloud DVR (doubt it, tough). The same email said that DTV Now has Gol in HD even though Gol is only SD on DTV satellite so I am going to find out if I can just sub to the Deportes Spanish package for $5 per month since I'm already a DTV subscriber (doubt it, again).
You can subscribe to deportes pack I had it. Also if you stream what device do you use? Fire TV? If so they sell a box to record live tv.
Do they not offer Fubo Latino anymore? I hope they don’t pull the plug on my grandfathered $10/month plan.
You are set because you are grandfathered. But they won't let anyone new onto this plan. I was hoping that my past signup for a free 7 day trial a long time ago would help me get on the plan you have but they told me my email address didn't register. Although channel for channel, subbing to a bigger package is cheaper than a la carte type packages, I'm uninterested in subbing to another full package just to get one or two channels. I already have that with DTV.
Originally posted this in the wrong thread: GolTV (For the few of us who have it in their lineup) also seems to have scaled back their programming quite a bit. And the main thing I am disappointed that they cast off this year is the weekly ArsenalTV content: Arsenal World and Arsenal 360. I assume this was a GolTV decision, rather than Arsenal deciding to stop producing those shows altogether. I suppose I can hunt them down on Arsenal's website somewhere but that's a lot less easy than my DVR automatically recording them every week. Assuming they don't miraculously reappear on GolTV... RIP.
I noticed today that it looks like those two Arsenal programs are on B/R Live now. I assume they're behind some sort of paywall, but I have the season pass so couldn't say for certain.
I think most of us would care more if they added more onDemand and DVR features. But it is positive news..
They have the rights elsewhere, I think, but not in the USA. The Perú Mágico channel (SD on DirecTV Spanish package/add-on) has the Perú league games. See GolTV play screenshot that says not available in Perú or USA.
It looks like Fanatiz has the rights in many countries, so if you have fanatiz and a vpn service you should be able to see the games.
Kudos to GolTV for showing a delayed broadcast of a Dutch Cup match from last week's round which went into extra time, which they did *not* chop and cut to fit into a 2-hour window but instead let the whole thing play out even though it wasn't live. In fact I so expected them to do this that I didn't bother setting my DVR past the 2-hour window. So I missed all but the first few minutes of the extra time, then had to wait a week before I saw them replay it again. This time I set the DVR for an extra hour and even on the replay they let the whole match run out, so I finally was able to watch the whole thing. Well done, GolTV.
Sorry to jump in here, but is anyone using the GolTV Play App? I signed up to watch Portuguese football but it looks like they haven't uploaded anything in a while (latest video in the archive is 16th Dec 2019).
Looks like they picked up some Peruvian League. Seeing Sporting Cristal v. Municipal starting right now and San Martin v. Universitario on Thursday.
GolTV showing a Uruguayan League quadruple header today live....pretty sure they have never done that before.
Yeah they showed the Liverpool v Fenix game. Cerrito v Boston River going down right now....makes me sad I lost GolTV when switching from DirecTV to Fios.
No idea why GOL TV isn't showing the Liga Portugal relegation playoff, I'd have to think it's part of their rights package. Not like anything else is going on they need to show live. Had to end up downloading it. Guess if it doesn't involve Benfica, Sporting or Porto they don't care.
