Interested to see this team with Vidal under Lasarte.I believe Alexis being out is a blessing for us long term. We need to find another spark on offense. Let’s do this!

Thinking about it now, that last game vs Bolivia reminded me of the friendly against México prior to the 2016 copa. It foreshadowed a good show for us.

Maripan es buen defensa, pero hace muchas faltas peligrosas. Tema para conversar con el.

I'll take this result. We need to see Ben play a lot more. I think he's going to be a big problem for a lot of these smaller defenders.

This was a game of two halves. It's good to see the team be able to climb from being a goal down.

The goal should be to get out of the group stage as a top-two team and restart after that.

I think we have found our 9, this could be the absolute game changer we needed. I’ll be surprised if he doesn’t get a hatty today. He is everywhere.

Yes he’s good. However he’s a bit slow and doesn’t mark, so Vargas should switch spots with him as far as who stays up. The Bolivian goalie is having a great game, otherwise easy 3-0 or more.

I was down on Meneses a couple of weeks ago in that first ARG match but he has been very impressive these last few games.

Bad day at the office for a few of our best players. Aranguiz and Vidal were very low today for the most part. The important thing is the win. My hope is that the gears will slowly start fitting into place as the tournament progresses. I’m thinking we’re more or less into the next round already unless some freak scores happen. I’m eager to see these guys playing at their regular levels plus Alexis.

I have mixed feelings about the game against Bolivia. Getting the 3 points was great but defending so much during the latter stage was a bit nervewrecking.

There were plenty of options to have gone into halftime with a 2-3 goal cushion. Their keeper (Lampe) broke a record of most saves in a CA game which had stood since 2007.

Lasarte might be going with a backline of three: Maripan, Medel, and Sierralta against Uruguay.

Tactically he helps out a lot and seems to be one of Lasarte's favorites, but that missed opportunity where he had Brereton completely open was tough to watch.

If the backline of 3 is what we go with tomorrow, Menses might be the sacrificed player.

Totally agree, and it's good to win on a bad day.

So much fuss because some players wanted to get a haircut.

Ben and Vargas compliment one another well. Great goal!

It’s always hard to play vs Uruguay. Fair score, we’re through to the next round. Both teams aren’t what they used to be. With that said, what’s with the injuries in Chile?! They gotta rest all the starters against Paraguay, so we can start fresh in the next round. I personally don’t care if we play vs brazil now or in a hypothetical final. At this stage ur either champ or you lost.

I'm interested to see the team Chile will go with tomorrow. A few key players are on a yellow which gets wiped away in the next round. Others have received a knock. I would rather avoid the tournament favorite like Brazil until a hypothetical latter stage.

It´s not the haircut, what matters about.

If our NT players or any of their contacts, start falling like flies, due to new nasty strains of covid-19 (currently present in Brazil, but not yet in Chile), then that "innocent haircut", will become very important. And most of all, if people in Chile start dying over them.

Anything so closely related to this pandemic we are all going through (specially coming from Brazil, which is probably the worst hit country of the world), matters

This tournament being played in Brazil, at present times, should've never happened
