Salah blows a lot of chances wherever i watch Liverpool. If he played for spurs he wouldnt score as much. Any stats?

Over played. Son has fitness issues. He dips in form whenever he gets tired and Jose played him constantly. Never got a rest.

Also he mentally switched from trying to score to trying to be provider. Not sure why. Maybe felt bad he didn't initially provide as many assists as kane. He should have played more direct and take shots he would normally go for.

 

Agreed. He tried to feed Kane many times for assists, when he could have gone for a shot. I think he was consciously trying to help Kane win the golden boot. Still, I think he had a spectacular season overall, and even the 2nd half wasn't as bad as people make it seem. He still has an impact even when he's not scoring every time he's on the pitch, and nicks in goal contributions even when he's "off form".

I hope Son doesn't extend his contract because that would be career suicide; effectively giving up all leverage and power in footballing decisions related to the prime years of his career.

He can rename himself to Son Ho Gu.
