I've now seen Alexander Isak in two games, and he has been fantastic in each one. If he goes to Arsenal it will ruin his career.

The other Danish players just call him Dams, and the Danish NT coach has this nickname for him, Damsinho
Well done from Schick to convert from the spot after getting his nose busted open by Lovren. Game needed a goal too for it to open up some more: Croatia really need to get something out of it. They (Croatia) have clearly looked old in the tournament so far...
Recency bias. Hazard is clearly past peak, while KDB is probably at that right now. You'd have to compare Hazard from 4 or 5 years ago for a more fair comparison IMO. I think good arguments can be made both ways.
Perisic with a banger ties it all up. Much needed for Croatia and it should be game on now. Coming up to the 75th min, this game still might have a winner in it for either side. Game hasn't taken off as expected though: bit of a dour affair tbh...
England: Pickford, James, Stones, Mings, Shaw, Phillips, Rice, Mount, Foden, Sterling, Kane Southgate at least changed the FBs, which was needed. The rest of the lineup remains unchanged (which means no Grealish again to start, which is a shame). Scotland: Marshall, O'Donnell, Hanley, Tierney, Robertson, McGregor, Gilmour, McTominay, McGinn, Adams, Dykes An improved lineup on paper at least with Tierney returning. Nice to see Gilmour and Adams starting as well.
Tournaments are a long haul obviously and winning teams don't always peak early. That being said, England need to do better if they're to still be consider among the favorites. Not good enough so far today and as tired a song as it may be, bring on Grealish: see what he can bring to the table. It seems he'd be the spark this team could use offensively.
Capt Jack on the scene. Finally! Sterling would be next for me, with Sancho (or even possibly Rashford) taking his place.
Given how uninspired the previous 2 games were today, I guess this game had to follow suit... On a serious note, this should be a wake up call to England fans: won't be going far at all if they can't raise their levels.
Game of the tournament so far. Absolute thriller.— Gary Lineker (@GaryLineker) June 18, 2021 England (1.72) 0-0 (0.99) Scotland— The xG Philosophy (@xGPhilosophy) June 18, 2021
Playing more minutes as a CB is useful for his development from our point of view - so he can improve some aspects. Scott McTominay’s game by numbers vs. England: 100% tackles won 82% pass accuracy 53 total touches 4 ball recoveries 2 interceptions Dealt with England’s left sided threat so well. #SCO 🔥🔥🔥 pic.twitter.com/GjWJyP649c— Statman Dave (@StatmanDave) June 18, 2021
Southgate remains the problem for England. All well and good that he managed a semi final run in Russia, but being honest, we all know it was easy for him. He has more talent now at his disposal and that's the best England can do in both games (the game vs Croatia despite the win was nothing to ride home about)? He'd have the remainder of the tournament to show what he's got, but based on what we've seen so far, I'd can him and put someone else in place for the run up to the WC, someone who will be able to do much better in terms of maximizing the potential of that group (and stop. He's simply not the guy...
First intl start: good on him. Billy Gilmour’s game by numbers vs. England: 91% pass accuracy 6 ball recoveries 3/4 successful long passes 2 tackles won A solid shift from the young man. 🏴👏 pic.twitter.com/LKQdKRg1Fc— Statman Dave (@StatmanDave) June 18, 2021
