Kevin Burns used to piss me off something terrible. He had a run of 4 to 5 games where he got to start. Probably due to extreme injuries up the roster. He couldn’t pass the ball forward to save his life. I’m so glad to be beyond the Burns/Balchin/Maloney days. USL is a great league to develop your skills. Please stay off my pitch.
My thought too. Sometimes injuries derail a promising career. I always wonder just how much better Mais could have been had he not had that bad ankle. Or in football, guys like Bo Jackson (baseball too) and Ki-Jana Carter.
I'm still moderately annoyed that Eddie Gaven retired so early. Not that one could ever be annoyed at Gaven, himself.
Tyson Wahl pissed me off from the moment he first signed here for no good reason. Finally found out why when he moved to Austin
Pedro Santos. Just good enough to be worth the heartache. I don't hate him by any means (like Szetela and others), but his style of play definitely annoys the hell out of me. He even annoys me when he doesn't play (MLS Cup anyone?).
Kevin Burns was also a dick outside of the team. He lived in an apartment downtown across from my sister. Thought and told people he was this big shot player for the team. Was drunk a lot, bossy, and loud.
