So it is clear that the Euro A team has lapped the MLS-based Americans by a pretty wide margin and increasing.....it used to be a question who would win..the best Yanks Abroad vs the best MLSers?

I dont think anyone would give the cupcake squad much of a chance vs the a team euro usmnt players.

Now I wonder if the Euro B-team could also beat the MLS' best Americans....

For instance, one could come up with a pretty decent squad of euro-based/foreign based players that GGG has ignored/never called up/rarely called up/way down the depth chart

    ---------------------------------Haji wright/Novakovich/balogun/sanogo/aron jo------------------------
    sabbi/kdlf/tillman/gooch------------------------------------------------------boyd/aribiyi/shaq moore/mighten
    -----------------------------------------Sonora/Julian Green---------------------------------------------------------------------------
    --------------------------------/Cappis/booth/ Holmes/Otasowie/Cardoso/Durkin--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    ----?--------------------CCV/diskerud------EPB/Alvarado-------tim chandler/wingo/olusunde/
    ----------------------------------------------------------------odunze/?---------------------------
Left back, Attacking mid and Gk seems a bit weak...might have missed a few players but a pretty decent group, imo.

How would they do vs the "MLS all stars"?

Off the top of my head:

    ---------------------Dike-----------------
    Morris----------------------------Zardes
    -------Lletget-------Busio------------
    ----------------Acosta----------------------
    Vines--Long--Zimmerman-Lima
    -----------------Turner----------------------

Maybe Araujo for Lima, somebody else for Busio.

    Not terrible

morris and long shouldnt be in there...no guarantee they return to what they were until they prove it. Dike's not gonna be there for long, either....but I'll leave him in.

    --------------Dike--Cowell---------------
    -----------------fontana--------------------
    --------Pomykal-------Clark------------
    ------------------Busio----------------------
    bello-- -Robinson--Zimmerman-araujo
    -----------------Turner----------------------

I would probably do something like this...wouldnt play zardes on the wing ...only as a striker. Dont really follow MLS enough to be 100% on my picks though.

My Euro B-squad would be something like this:

    ----------Haji Wright-----sabbi------------
    Boyd------------------------------kdlf--
    ----------Green-----Otasowie------------
    Chandler--CCV--EPB-Olusunde
    -----------------?---------------------

    Would be an interesting match

    ---------------------Clark----Cowell-----------
    -----Bello-------Amaya------Williams-------Duncan
    ---------------------------Sands----
    ------------Flach-----Zimmerman----Miles-----
    ---------------------------Turner-----

Could hold its own against the main team. A number of these players will be moving to top leagues

1st what’s the Euro A team? Let’s go with Steffen, Yedlin, Brooks, Richards, Robinson, McKennie, Adams, Reyna, Pulisic, Weah, Sargent.

Therefore, the Euro B team would be... Horvath, Cannon (Reynolds), Miazga (EPB), McKenzie (CCV), A. Robinson (Ream), De la Torre (Otasowie), Green(Durkin - not counting Johnny), Musah (Cappis), Aaronson (Boyd), Konrad (Gioacchini), Pefok (Hoppe)

And, the MLS a team would be...
Turner, Araujo (Herrera), Miles (Glad), Zimmerman (Sands), Vines (Bello), Acosta (Busio), Yuiell (Pomykal or Flach, Tessman, Roldan, Amaya, Perea, Williamson); Lletget (Bassett/Ferreira), Clark (Mueller), Arriola (Cowell), Zardes (Rubin)

...It would be a good match up. I’d go with the Euro B team right now though.

    you left out Dest.

You also include a lot of players that gregg regularly includes in his full rosters in your euro b-team.

I was looking at it differently. Exclude the first 20 or so euro players in GGGs rankings...and only include the players GGG doesnt...and then make a team from that. Cannon, Horvath, Miazga, A robinson, Ream, Musah, Aaronson Mckenzie are not euro b-teamers for me. not even close. they get called in on the reggg. so, not b-teamers.

my point was that the fringe "forgotten" yanks in europe could likely beat the MLS all star yanks...but they never get the callups that the mls players do.

An actual B team would likely win, but I'm pretty sure that MLS team beats that Euro B squad.

its semantics. I dont consider anyone in the first 23 a "b-teamer"...apparently many do.

For example, Horvath is going to the WC and WCQ...he is not a bteamer to me.

So, in that case.....how would c-team from europe do against a domestic first 11? I think it would be a good match...much more competitive than many beleive. but we will never know.

Interesting is one way to put it. Hold it's own must mean no worse than a 3 goal loss.
