Time to roll with Romo, Herrera, Orbelín, Charly, Córdova and Govea. I'd even like to try someone like Aldo Rocha as contención to be Edson's backup and send Romo forward.

I honestly don't mind Chaquito at CA at the moment. Reynoso seems like a good guy at developing duses. Ormeño began ascending with him.

I think 90% is talent. We don't have the horses to take the team to the next level. We need about 10 players who start most of the time for their teams in the top 5 leagues in Europe. With the inflated market in Mexico (relative to the rest of the continent) that will take decades it feels like. That's the best case scenario to be successful at the international stage. Or hope for a relatively favorable crossing in the second stage. But even then the team squandered those chances losing to the US in 2002, and choking in 2010 against Uruguay.

Is this Govea dude really that good? He has been playing in Belgium for like 5 years. I wasn't impressed the few time I saw him.

 

He hasn't been given a real shot and could be a nice option. At worst, he's depth.

 

My only knock with him is that he's a smurf. Still, I hope Aguirre gives him more minutes.

 

Pinche Chaka had one fuk up but he actually shut down the world class nad attacks pretty well.

Antuna had a very bad game.

Lozano and Tecatito were doing pretty much what they wanted...Lainez too.

Really impressed with Romo.

Defense was meh.

 

Reitero...Chaka had one fuk up but defensively he shut down Pulibench and company.

Nad offense was largely invisible.
