Just awful substitutions, terrible selection to go with and stick with Rashford, horrible execution from so many players. Huge game from McTominay, but I can’t really think of any others who really did well.

Really, looking at the goal from the run of play, the assist was placed where De Gea was standing, but he backed away from the ball to give up the goal. Henderson #1 going forward, regardless of salary.

 

Yep. I hope he gets thrown to the wolves in the post match and papers.

 

And joking around with the Villareal players before the game. Keano was right. He ought to be focus on the game and not messing about. Joke around after the game you idiot.

 

i can't deal with lindelof anymore. rashford needs a serous reality check, and should not be an automatic starter next year. ole talks a good game about united dna but has proven to be a coward in big games. i don't know anything about goal keepign but not getting close to the ball on 11 pens seems hard to do.

 

Again, Ole's fault. Surely he knows both keepers' record on Pks. At minimum, do a van Gaal and bring Henderson for the shootout since he had the subs available.
His decisions today from start to finish were wrong. And really, with just a bit of sense, the game shouldn't have been decided on this roll of the dice.

 

That was rough to watch. It was there for the taking but the boys just weren't in it today. And not sure what the ******** was up with the delayed substitutions. ********ing hell.

 

And if Ole is going to be such a pussy to play for penalties, at least understand your own squad. Everyone knows DDG is shit at penalties and Hendo is pretty decent at them. If you're making penalty taker subs, make penalty saver subs too.
