Did the weather man report that rain is in the forecast for Wednesday? Like a wall of it to cover half of Texas by midweek. Still, I've been rained on before at Dynamo home games and they are always fun nights! Haha! DALE DYNAMO!!! WEDNESDAY May 12 Thunderstorms 78° 62° 70% NE 10 mph 6:30 AM 8:05 PM
This game is listed with a 7:30 kickoff. That can’t be exactly correct but it should be soon after that.

this feels like a mid field vs mid field battle tonight. and well....i just don't have a very good feeling about our side coming out on top. Gonna have to seriously upgrade ability to hold possession, cross effectively and keep the DMs from jumping up too high. Hope they are able to learn and apply all of this in a manner of 3 days practice. PS finding some one who can hit a set piece or corner kick would be super neat as well
Maric stepped up and was a big part of the win. Clean sheet! Jones is giving teams fits with his skill combined with body size. Look forward to watching him continue to grow. our dead ball service is just comical. We had once chance where SKC had a one man wall and.....we hit the one man. I repeat, we can't serve a dead ball around a one man wall. Absolutely unacceptable PS is Fafa starting to come into Oduro territory??
Missed this one due to wok unfortunately, but from what I read it looks like it was a good one from Maric and Jones. Always happy to beat the Sporks.
Nice home win and a clean sheet as well! I too missed going to the game as work interfered on a Wednesday night but caught every second of the match so big props to Jones who just went out and dominated the K.C. entire team, I mean he was running people down in the final minutes of the match. And did y'all witness his slide tackling prowess? He went steaming into one challenge and the K.C. player was surprised that a man could pull that type of tackle off at such pace! Memo looked better and so did Corona, who I think is coming into his own under Ramos. He was as well very involved all around the field last night. Urruti was up to the task last night as well, and when given his look at goal he slotted it home with class. Parker and Boni did well in the back, and when Figueroa was added to the back line we got even better. Obviously Ramos was saving old man Figz's legs as we are away to Colorado on Saturday. Our weakest points right now are again our outside backs as Valentin has a heavy touch way too often and as well gets pulled outta shape too often. Then there is our Swede, yowza! Our goalie did do well but there were several headers and SOG's that were sent directly at the man so he really knew nothing about the save, just being there. But that is association football way of being, random chances. One day your goalie makes 13 saves, the next day he leaks 3 goals at home just for being two feet to the left on his line. On Ramos's ejection, the foul on Fafa was clear as day. So Ramos went sprinting down the line to chat up the AR on what gives, which for as much as MLS has grown in the stands and the player quality down on the field, the MLS ref scene is not up to par at all. Good on our coach to really go long on standing up for what is right! It appears that Mr. Tab Ramos, an icon of American soccer history, is now fully locked into to Houston Dynamo being HIS boys, his team! And that my friends is awesome to witness! On to Colorado and see if our boys can make it two wins in a row! VAAMO' HOUSTON!!! It was the loveable Swede of ours, who is not good at getting up the line to cross or very good at tracking back to defend the cross. He continues to start under Ramos and I do not know why.
Lundqvist. We shouldn't expect Brad Davis-level set piece skill from him, though. He was brought in and even re-signed for lock-down defense. He's likely a shoe-in for MLS' Defender of the Year award.
A good grind it out win at home. 3 points. Don’t think we are a top team by any stretch but these wins keep you alive for the playoffs
I’m away from the internet for a few days. Can someone else start a game thread for Colorado this Saturday? I’ll be back next week.
You know what I just thought of? We, the Houston Dynamo, actually won a game with Penso as ref. I mean, he hates us and it shows, that kinda adds to the enjoyment.
Clearly you missed out on the drama a few years ago. I'm surprised security didn't confiscate the flag.
