PBP: PBP: 2021 MLS Season Game Thread Week 5 May 12-16

I think Toronto did a good job marking Zelarayan out of the game for most part, but i also think Columbus underestimated TFC a bit

 

As a team, they have scored just 1 goal in 4 games to start this year. DC United gifted them 2 own goals last weekend in the Crew's 3-1 win. So far at least, Cincinnati, Chicago, Miami, DC United, and Columbus look like they have some catching up to do with the rest of the Eastern Conference teams.

 

At least i dont sleep much.

 

I just realized there is a female center ref in Philly. Pretty cool.

 

Monteiro just blew a great opportunity for the Union. He should have been shooting first time.

I think they can be excused for underestimating TFC. They have been horrible this season. Tonight was a much better effort.

I've watched parts of 3 games tonight. For some reason, the volume on the Union broadcast was like 20 db louder than the other 2. Weird.
