Pulisic hits the target 36.1% of the time. Mount hits the target 30.4% of the time. Only like Kova, Kante, Jorginho, CHO and Gilmour have lower percentages than Mount. Needless to say, they take far fewer shots than Mount.

Nice dangerous beating the man and looping in a dangerous cross as soon as possible. Then I remembered there's no one likely to finish off that play.

What exactly is this formation meant to accomplish. It seems set up to have Mount and Havertz on the end of everything. It seems kind of dumb. Of course, me typing that means it will result in like 9 goals in this match.

Never thought I’d say this....Werner should come on for Havertz.

but our boy will get the hook I bet. I don’t care as long as he starts the FA Cup final

Good game for Giroud given how deep Arsenal is playing

It needs to be Giroud. Arsenal sitting back and daring Chelsea to cross to Mount and Havertz. Giroud for Havertz, Ziyech for one of the defenders.

Cho for James is another option.

chelsea slow there to counter and so deliberate in buildup where it seems like a cross to no real target is the most likely outcome from all that possession

Mount is actually having a poor game imo. I think CP is the only one even trying anything out there in the attack.
Time To check Twitter, where I’m sure many Chelsea fans are calling Pulisic “shit.”

Chelsea look toothless, which they mostly have against weaker opposition that sit back ever since Tuchel took over. Once Arsenal scored, they went into full-blown Brighton and Hove Albion mode.

Chelsea obviously the better team, but Arsenal took advantage of the massive Chelsea error, and Chelsea did not take advantage of the massive Arsenal error.

Pulisic and Mount both creating well. I think Chelsea should bring on Giroud sooner rather than later if Arsenal is going to continue to sit back. Werner has no place in this game - he should stay on the bench.

At least I'm pretty sure they won't name Jorginho man of the match for doing not much, again.

Reading about Pulisic on Twitter exemplifies what’s wrong with Twitter. He’s either total shit or the only one looking decent.

Yeah, not sure what the point of checking Twitter is. It will just make your blood boil and nothing they say has any bearing on how the game will go.

True. I shouldn’t even look. Right now you have a few saying “Pulisic was the only decent attacker,” which I actually agree with, but I’m probably biased.
then you have the CHO fan joys all calling for him to replace Pulisic. A few out there are saying “Kai and CP should be out at half.” No mention of Mounts poor 1st half. And no mention of the biggest issue: the midfield is not getting the ball to the attackers. Midfield is too soft. All chelae players have upwards of 40 and 50
Touches that Half. The attackers are in the low 20s for touches

Would have to be CP, right? I think it’s possible CP is still Hurt.
Mounts not coming out, and CHO would not replace Havertz based on formation

Chelsea not exactly electric but unlucky to still be down.

A couple of loose balls in the box could have dropped to Chelsea instead of getting cleared.

    Kai's miss was obviously huge.

Cho is coming on hopefully not for Pulisic who has been the best of the attackers so far. Maybe could have tried to turn on his defenders a couple of times when he settled for a safe back pass.

Shed End seems to be calling for Abraham for Havertz, but mostly they just want to sign a billion pound central mid to replace Jorginho.

Thought Pulisic looked to be creating a few chances, gave Mount a couple shots. But, Arsenal sitting back deep. Chelsea has the ball the whole time but mostly a lot of side to side passing and a few half chances. A big crowd in front of goal ad a lot of half court setup is hard for a dribbler like Pulisic to get through. If he keeps making good passes, something should come of it eventually.
