If they go for Sancho, I would think they want to move Ziyech. Teams are not afraid of Ziyech, but they do fear Pulisic.

Chelsea also have dozens of unused players that they can move to raise cash, if needed.

I think the only reason he's using a 3-5-2 is because he doesn't have a good enough outside forward, outside of Pulisic, to play a 4-2-3-1

He would walk into the starting RW job and probably get paid more at Manchester United. Chelsea is a better run club overall though and has a better manager. I think he will go to United but we'll see.

Our defense was leaking goals and the extra CB was to cover there. I think the issue was less about winger or wide forward and more about st. He doesn’t rate Tammy or Giroud. Timo is better playing off a ST but if you play him at ST it’s to be lethal on the counter.

I'm guessing you mean Sancho will go to United..but I wouldn't be surprise if Chelsea challenges United for his signature just to keep him away from a title rival....They've bought players before on that reasoning...and Sancho supposedly grew up as a Chelsea fan.

Haaland is not moving this year, according to BVB....Lukaku is said to prefer staying put at Inter with Conte, specially after winning the Italian League...and Aguero preference is Barcelona to join Messi...

Chelsea may not be able to buy a big ticket striker, so they could go for the next best available attacker in the market to make a push for the title next year...That is Sancho.

I hope Pulisic does not start today. If he does, I have a feeling that means he will definitely not start the FA Cup final.

When he didn't start against Fulham, I assumed that meant he was starting against Real Madrid, and whoops! It's an indicator, but not definitive.

I heard today on SiriusXM FC that the current scuttlebutt has ManU declining to go after Sancho again. The logic is that they now have someone better already. Namely, Mason Greenwood who just became the top-scoring teenager in ManU history. Yes, more goals that Wayne Rooney, Christiano Ronaldo and Ryan Giggs.https://www.espn.com/soccer/manches...s-and-cavani-allowing-him-to-continue-to-grow

Mount, Pulisic and Havertz up front today vs Arsenal. Very cool. I hope it goes as well as it did vs Crystal Palace.

I also hope this does not indicate that CP will not start Saturday. I want him to bag another goal in an FA Cup final!

No, it isn't. Kepa, not Mendy. Zouma, not Rudiger.

Seems that way they are resting/rotating Kante and Werner.

We'll see what this means for the FA cup but IMO it's better for him to start this game than see CHO or Ziyech get a start over him.

I do think Pulisic+Kai is better partnership than Pulisic+Werner so hopefully this combination does well today.

Gilmor is a super downgrade from Kante. Jorginho is slow. If I were arsenal I would target those two often. I have my doubts that Chelsea do much in this game.

Prepared to eat crow though when CP bags a hat trick!

I'm a poster, not a doctor. I do know Rudiger just started and went the distance against Man City, wearing some protective headgear.

To be fair arsenal is a super downgrade from Manchester City so the midfield should hold up ok.

Maybe it was the most fouls on one player in the UCL since prime Messi?

Agreed. The midfield could easily prevent the front line from really clicking today. Kante and Kova means so much offensively.
