My soccer following generally has been reduced to watching extended highlights of matches on youtube, and while ESPN and NBC normally do a good job, bein tends to be awful sometimes with the quality of content that makes into the highlights or goals not being included in game highlights. For example, a game from today has 12 minutes long highlights with not much happening. And there was only one goal in the game, but it was not included in the 12 minutes of highlights. You can’t make this stuff up.
If you are referring to the “90 in30” show then , yeh , its certainly low quality/budget. It’s basically about showing the first and last three minutes of each half plus the goals. Lazy af. They would jump from the 53rd minute right to stoppage time. And not in a blowout but for like a 2-1 game. That can’t ever make sense.
Especially when the game itself may not have ever been shown on a live or delayed basis. I can certainly understand a "90in30" type show for a classic game that most people have seen or like a World Cup match from 2006 or such, but when the game itself was played 48 hours ago? Ouch.
Real Madrid vs Barcelona got 343 k on BeIn Español, and 152 k on BeIn Sport. http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articl...cable-originals-network-finals-4-10-2021.html
Anyone else with Sling unable to DVR BeIN Sports Extra? Getting weird error messages when I tried this past weekend.
I just noticed an ad on BeinSportsXtra for a new Spanish version of BeinSportsXtra. It appears the channel is only available on something called Vizio, which I gather is a proprietary Smart TV. There is no Vizio app on Roku. it is unclear if the programming is different from the English version. Here is a press release I found: https://www.businesswire.com/news/h...-en-Español-Now-Available-on-VIZIO-SmartCast®
Also, for you fans of the National Independent Soccer Association, it looks like Xtra is playing some matches in the spring Legends Cup this week, including the final on Sunday at 8pm.
Thanks! I installed KlowdTV on my Roku and it looks like they are playing the Sudamericana match between Bragantino & Tolima while the Xtra English feed is playing an NISA match. So it appears to have different programming, which is great. I hope they find a way to put this channel over-the-air like they did with Xtra.
Hey guys, hope all is good. Does anyone know how to install Bein Sports Connect on the FireStick while bypassing the Google Play Services?
The easiest way I found is to use my Andriod phone to sideload apps to the FireStick. I have a couple of apps on my phone that connect my phone to my FireStick: "Apps2Fire" "Easy Fire Tools" (this one works to put apps from my phone to Shield as well.) Hope that helps SA
More on the Bein Xtra Espanol front: the channel will be included on the new PlutoTV en Espanol app that is set to be launched next week. https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20210426005729/en/
Does anyone know anything about French Ligue 2 coverage on Bein? Looks like game highlights and full game replays are now available on Bein Connect (in the "Highlights" and "Watch Again" sections), but I'm not seeing any live coverage and I can't seem to find much info out there on the Ligue 2/Bein deal. I'm sure it's a side "benefit" of Bein's Ligue 1 contact, but I'd love to know more about possible live games, especially for the end of the season. Any info/insight will be much appreciated.
Yes, it's all there in the TV Guide feature on BeIN Sports Connect--thanks! In case anyone is interested, 3 games listed tomorrow 1:50-4 pm EDT: Troyes-Dunkerque (Connect 5), Toulouse-Caen (6), Clermont-Sochaux (7). Not sure when that Ligue 2 coverage started (as a supporter of a Ligue 2 club, I should have been paying attention), but 3 games a week is great.
I have been catching up Ligue 2 on a delay on Connect for about a month now. Not sure they have been on there all season or not. It is cool to see them on connect because there was no other to watch oherwise. Who is your club in Ligue 2? I am a Marseille supporter but love anything French football.
Apparently, no live Ligue 2 games this Saturday on BeIN Connect. Time slots are taken by Turkish league games. Too bad because it's the last match day with a key PFC-Chambly game: PFC trying to clinch playoff berth, Chambly hoping to avoid relegation.
I'm bummed about La Liga to ESPN, mainly because I worry that BEIN will go under, and I worry about getting the same level of Ligue 1/Turkish League/Copa Liberatadores coverage elsewhere... On a positive note, having Max Bretos doing Liberatadores games rules so hard. Brings me back to the days of that guy calling the Primera and Brasilerao on Fox Sports World in early 2000s.
I don't mind ESPN scooping up La Liga rights and killing BeIN. At least you can get ESPN on the major TV providers. You can't get BeIN on DTV, Uverse, ATT TV, Hulu, Comcrap or YTTV
On the other hand if BeIN survives without La Liga (and I think they will), it will probably mean more extensive coverage of Ligue 2, which I would definitely be looking forward to.
I'm wondering if BEIN is preparing to wind down US operations. LaLiga was their crown jewel and now it's gone. Their wrestling program MLW is now on VICE. The CONMEBOL agreement for Sudamericana and Libertadores was through 2022.
