Potentially. However, my thought process is this: Games between top 10 teams are "worth" 30pts. If the lower-ranked team wins, that means they'll usually earn at least 10pts *and* the higher-ranked team loses at least 10pts. The further behind the lower-ranked team is, including being on the wrong end of "home field advantage", the more those values increase; similarly more if the lower-ranked team wins by multiple goals. ENG losing to CAN at home by multiple goals is thus probably at least a 30pts swing alone between those two teams. The other loss by ENG and the other (non-top-ten) win by CAN in this window can thus probably make up the remaining 11pts, thus erasing a 40+pt deficit. That said, this past window hasn't been the only games these teams have played since December, so adding that consideration in (which I didn't think of earlier) means I now do think you're probably right about CAN not passing ENG. But a small number of top 10 games, especially if no team has mixed results, can absolutely move 40+ points.
That isn't the meaning of "literally". I was wondering why the Australian League wasn't affected by the international break - uh, I'm seeing some mixed signals from Australia's coach... "Matildas coach Tony Gustavsson and his coaching staff will be watching the Westfield W-League’s incredible young talent closely.” "Matildas coach Tony Gustavsson makes it clear W-League players aren’t in his plans"
It don't really matter for CAN they will avoid US anyway, but for AUS and BRA is should be important to be seeded in 2nd group to avoid Sweden and thus be have a very good chance to avoid USA (since they as always are very likely to will end up in the same group as Sweden).

Great recap! Good job. I didn't even know South Sudan had a women's National Team. I have to assume (k) stands for PK?
yes, penalty kick (pk) = rzut karny (k) in Polish, which has a little sense anyway cuz it literally translate to: throw criminal It's edited now, but anyway take notice that not all goals that were pk's are marked as such (some sources don't mark them) - it's not accurate in that regard.
Even when defenders and forwards also play their share of off the mark passes, I swear it seems the midfield is often always blamed for every misplaced pass. Midfielders having great games like the Dutch midfield vs Australia will still have giveaways in possession; that's just football. However, the Dutch midfield is getting singled out and specifically criticized following the Australia match. I understand some of the remarks, but it's getting tiring to me the level of criticism that a quite accomplished midfield has received over the last four years.
What have you seen/ read this time? The game hasn't been discussed here afaik (and they were critical of themselves in the post-match [as a team] in that they still need to improve). And yes it was a solid performance ... (Roord also taking up a far more prominent central role). Youtube commenters on these vids are always laughable (just reading a few now under the highlight video).
South Sudan were in the Cecafa 2019 championship https://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/cecafa-womens-championship-★-tanzania-2019.2107101/
Sorry for the off-topic, but it's quite some days that I'd want to ask what's represented in your new avatar, @desinho!
So, it appears both Brazil and Canada leapfrogged Australia, thus kicking them into pot 3: See FIFA World ranking thread for discussion about the FIFA rakings published today and 2020 Tokyo Olympics thread for discussions about the draw.
Looks like it did end up playing out this way; the gap between ENG and BRA/CAN fell from 41pts to just 3pts/6pts, with the combined effects of ENG 6-0 NIR and the SBC making up that handful of points that are just barely keeping ENG above the other two.
Having a full set of games between POR/NGA/JAM will be a great look at how mid-ranking teams from different confeds stack up against each other. I would love to see more tournaments like this (though, ideally, without a ringer like USA also participating - but maybe that might be necessary for the near future as higher-ranked nations may be the only potential hosts for a while that can draw such cross-confed interest).
The international window right now is 7-16 June, or 7-15 June in Uefa. First big day of matches is Thursday 10 June (GMT kickoff times here)

Although Netherlands were missing their top players Miedema and Martens, I guess team #15 in the world rankings beating team #3 is anyway noteworthy. Italy 1-0 Netherlands (Girelli PK 14') Highlights:
