Beat me to it. Gio sort of glides rather than running. He doesn’t appear to be running hard but he is gliding by people like Kaka and they’re both decent sized. Kaka i think is bigger but considering Gio is only 18 he’s still likely going to grown an inch or two.
I’m not so sure about that. They def have similarities but Kaka was an out and out 10. Both Gio and Kai can play out wide tho they’re better served when then come inside. Both can operate in that false 9 role. Neither are fast but their not slow. They play different tempo. Elegant has been a term used for both. They could play in a number or roles and succeed. Don’t feel like they have that 1 perfect role. Just damn good players that help the team and can be tricky to figure out the best way for them to do it. They share traits with Kaka no doubt but I think they’re a little more versatile.
I’d suggest watching Kai closely. He’s the exact same. He’s often referred to as elegant that’s not a hard runner type. Their all the same height roughly. kaka 6’1 Gio 6’1 Kai 6’2
I think it’s negligible differences. Their close in those categories. I also think Kai looks weaker than he is cause the physicality and speed of the EPL takes adapting. I expect to see a much much better version next year. Just as I expect Gio to take a step as well. Either way, I do think they’re very similar. Excited to watch both of them develop for different reasons.

I just watched the Chelsea game and when Havertz fell a couple of times, I thought he was Pulisic and thought “man, that looks wimpy Christian” and then saw the number on the jersey. Havertz plays smaller than he is. Gio already has tree trunk legs and a block head. He’s a muscular guy who plays strong football. Gio is a powerful athlete. Havertz is kinda like the mermaid version of Derek Zoolander. (Not really...just wanted to get that reference in there).
I remember reading that Nate Jaqua grew a few more inches when he was at college. But yeah, not a common occurrence by any means.
This is purely anecdotal but, it may be more common in taller guys. I was 6’ 4 my fist year of college and ended up around 6’ 6. A lot of my friends were as tall or taller than me and had a similar 1-1.5 inch growth spurt in college. But everyone is different, I was close to 6’ 4 by the time I was 13 and then didn’t really grow again until college.
I concur. Beer helped me grow. It helped grow my confidence in college. The more beer; the more confidence with the ladies. I grew so confident that I could handle two GF’s at two schools. Until they found out about each other.......... Then I had to grow my confidence back with my beer
