Prior to the goal, Werner was poor imo, with his usual crap first touch. But now he got the goal, maybe we will see a different player and A more confident one. the game will Open up more now, Pulisic should get some good opportunities. I think he is having a decent game based on the tactics in play, but of course some Twitter CFC fans are slating him. You can’t win over that fanbase unless you score a goal every match...
I haven't paid enough attention to gather what's been going on other than it seems like Tuchel's entire approach this half season was to produce a midfield/forward arrangement that would best produce quality defending because defending has been such a problem all year. I imagine if he isn't playing him, it's probably because he's the worst fit for that approach. I tend to assume that plus being out of form was why Pulisic was benched for so long.
And of course, unfortunately, this will go unnoticed by many, because he didn’t dribble through 7 players and score
Pulisic with some great footwork again and nice layoff to Kante. Should’ve received the return ball. I think Pulisic has easily been Chelsea’s most dangerous player today. Very few turnovers as well.
