Also 2010, if we would've taken care of business against URgay or South Africa. It was South Korea and Ghana. There will never again be an opportunity like that. Could've been semis.
I love how people keep talking and taking into account things that aren't a given at all. Like that these teams playing together is a great thing just for them being them and that not because it's not as frequent. I forget how the world stop to see those Bayern- Arsenal Audi Cup games or how the world is a buzz from those Manchester City-Real Madrid and Ac Milan vs Barcelona games back to back games in the US.
Not remotely. They said Liverpool would never win a Premier League. It happened. They said Liverpool would never win another UCL after 2005 and it happened. Of course they'd win again. This is just a shitty cash grab (driven by greedy Americans behind the scenes). UCL could use some updating but don't try to fix what isn't broken. And I don't like that 12 or 15 charter clubs can never be relegated. History or not, teams should always have to earn it.
No. I'm a bit shocked that you'd slight RJ9 even though we wouldn't be there had it not been for him and some help from the nads to defend Piojo. No recontramames.
LMFAO including Arsenal and Spuds. May as well have invited Valencia. Man Citeh will always be an upstart nouveau riche club that bought themselves into relevance. Clubs have ups and downs. Let them qualify or not qualify via the current process. At least the German clubs have some integrity and backbone.
eatingpopcorn.gif It would be tied up in court for a long time. I think the ace up the sleeve is not allowing these duses to play in Euros or WC. I'm OK with that.
Soccer is a business....it has always been a business....name 1 federation that places the integrity of the sport over profit?
I wonder just how far back people have complained about money in sport I’m guessing from the beginning of money
Sorry but you're salty AF. Yes I get corruption isn't unique to LigaMX but let merit stand on its own...

Perez claiming that #PSG, #Bayern and #BVB were not invited is a straight up lie. Documents obtained by Der Spiegel show that #Bayern and #BVB were invited and have 30 days to join. PSG also invited but they have 14 days to join the Super League. (Via @derspiegel) pic.twitter.com/j20aDE7Y5l— Manuel Veth (@ManuelVeth) April 19, 2021
Don’t German clubs have a system in place where the fans and the owners have a 51-49 split? Or am I misremembering that? Probably a reason none of them could join if they wanted to.
All federations are greedy but some also care about improving their NT and winning... The German Federation is one that cares as much about the success of its NT and leagues as it does about money.
Yeah, obviously everything is a business but the business model allows for sporting integrity by having qualifications for any tournament that is worth a damn. People get into the champions league on prior seasons success, people play first division based on prior seasons standings, etc. the same goes for the World Cup, you don’t get to play based on your countries ability to generate income or having a big name. Even a corrupt organization like fifa still maintains the sporting integrity, if they were to do the equivalent of this “super league” it would be permanently inviting Italy because of their history ignoring the fact that they have been dog shit since 2006 at the World Cup, or inviting the United States because of tv revenue. What these clubs are doing is awful, first they try buy their way to success accumulating massive debt in the process which other small clubs don’t have the luxury of doing and when that doesn’t work (manure, arsenal, juventus, inter Milan) for a decade they decide to form another league. Lmao it’s so cringe

Facts. If UEFA truly cared about the game, those Euro tickets would have been more affordable. They’re upset that they did not come up with the SL first.
