HOF presumably helped by the meteoric rise of Jule Brand. Shame this game was shown by Magenta TV; they came down hard on anybody that replays their telecasts on youtube

Magull equalized at 90+3 but the referee whistled during the shot and disallowed the goal for dubious reason. I could see neither a foul nor a handball by Lohmann. She had both arms behind her back when the ball hit her and if it was a foul it was Dongus who fouled Lohmann.

Wolfsburg has now the title in their own hands. A win against Freiburg tomorrow and they would be only two points behind Bayern.

Yeah not sure how that is a foul. Looks like chest or shoulder that the ball touch which she directed to the other player.

The match between Bayern and Wolfsburg should be interesting.

Foul or not, you can hear the whistle blow before Magull’s shot was taken. I was impressed more with Dallmann’s nice dribbling at the beginning of the 2nd half, but the goal was also taken away.

from what I’ve seen from the last couple of games, Bayern tries to be some sort of Harlem Globetrotters with all the fancy, no look passing. But ultimately its an underwhelming tactic as too many passes get interrupted

Even though HOF’s just an amateur squad, with many of their kids attending college, it’s got the most athletic squad in the league, and as seen in the highlights, was a major reason for their win

So glad to see at least one German team embrace athleticism(plus giving an college education)as it’s a large part of Americans huge success in woso. Not sure if players like Brand, Wassmuth & Krumbiegel(from HOF) to go along with Freigang, Kuver Anyomi (from other clubs)will take over the NT by next year’s Euros, but hopefully by 2023 WC if we want to see GER win the World Cup again

I hear it after the shot was taken and surely no player was influenced by the whistle.

Stephan Lerch will be coach of the under 17 team of TSG Hoffenheim (boys) next season.

I wonder if he thinks that is a step up or down career wise from the Wölfinnen. May be better paid?

I guess he thinks it is a necessary step if he wants to coach a 1. or 2.Bundesliga men team in future. It seems that being a successful coach in women`s football doesn`t create much interest by men`s clubs.

here's the full game of the Hoffenheim upset over Bayern Munich

I wasn't all that impressed with HOF, it's more just how bad Bayern played; after their quick 2-0 lead, they gave up a lot possession to HOF, trying to become an counter attacking unit, but going fowrad with no real speed. Hegering who had a good set of games for the NT last week, seemed to have vanished in every one of HOF's goals, I mean she is an CB, right?
All this gives me no confidence that they can take on Cheslea next week in the Champions League. Chelsea is an run n gun team that that don't got time to mezz around & will kick one hail mary pass after another over what ever little defence they had out there.

Good news for Hoffenheim; but they’ve poached Jana Feldkamp away from Essen for next season.

Feldkamp looked good at CB in her starting debut for the NT last week(though she usually is an AM)

so maybe HOF’s usual cheapo billionaire owner might be ready to finally spend some money for his woso club too

Highlights Potsdam-Bayern. This time Bayern profit from a doubtful referee decision and got a disputed penalty.

Frankfurt has a strong showing in their last game, 4-0, over SC Sand
    highlights
Highlights: Eintracht Frankfurt vs. SC Sand

Freigang had an hat trick despite playing the AM instead of her previous striker position. She & Nuskens have gained a lot of confidence since playing for their NT the previous week. Plus add that the 17 year old Kuver continues to grow(she got the PK in this game) and got the feeling that Frankfurt will have a strong showing for the rest of te season

do you see how Cerci owns Hegering in Potsdam"s 1st goal? Plus she's got a pretty good header game to go with her nifty dribbling. Got the feeling sooner or later she'll make the NT

true, Doursoon looked pretty bad in Freiburg’s first goal as she got dispossessed from the ball. Right now I don’t see Germany having any top, defensive CB’s. Seems like to be considered a top CB needs to have offensive skills as well, but looking back at the game winning goal by Hoffenheim; they scored from an quick counter. I counted Hegering at only #6 Bayern player in an foot race to get back on defense.

I think MVT knows this(Germany’s lack of good CB’s), that’s why she’s trying to turn mids like Leupolz, Oberdorf, Lattwein, Feldkamp into CB’s

as for BM’s chances vs Chelsea; considering the way they’ve been playing lately it’s almost slim to none. BM cramps it’s players way to closely together; hoping to achieve some nifty short passing game, but once dispossessed of the ball; it gives Chelsea so much open space to work with(that’s why BM got killed on all 3 counters by HOF).

only chance I give BM if they isolate & take on 1v1 Chelsea’s weak defensive CB, Millie Bright, but then again, BM don’t believe in those kind of individual type plays

    here's highlights from yesterday's Bayer Leverkusen/Essen game

while our two endless-patronizing-Nakeshiko fan club members will swoon over their 26 year old Tanaka scoring her 3rd goal of the season, I'm more impressed with what looks like another promising German youth player named Wamser(Essen's #30), she's only 17 years old & got her fourth goal of the season/she's all over the place in these highlights

    Live streams
Bayern/Chelsea comes on about 3 hours later, the site I'll use is geo blocked in several countries though

Sand-Bremen should be the most interesting game. Wolfsburg and Hoffenheim are clear favourites and I don`t think that Wolfsburg will make a serious attempt to catch up the 24 goals difference advantage of Bayern.
