Congrats to Real Newark. Nice captain selection of Iheanacho. That Mateta character is pretty far off in the rear view mirror.

Thank you. I finally chose a captain who returned points. For all they spent on Mateta, not playing him without a reported injury seems odd. Pep not playing Sterling for the past two game weeks is concerning.

was debating between Maddison, Neves and Harrison. Madison choice made for me when I was ready to post him, be interesting to see how the 3 do in this tight race of margins

Oh man... what a terrible game week. Predicted the Dawson own goal but have about three transfers to undo. Congrats to the Welbeck, Trossard, Gross and Lacazette transfers. Double deluxe. Trossard captain, priceless....

Whose bright idea was it to start 3 City defenders (and rest Dallas on my open team):mad:

The Board of CDS FC, announce "In the Gaffer we have every confidenc...owner walks in to Press room throwing tea cups and New Mexico ranch saucers at the Board, announces they are all fired, set up a FIFA 2021 game and announced open tryouts with the high score of the day to be announced as Club President and COO...

Reported this mystery coach has inside track on the job:

PK-IV announced he is the new COO of CDS FC.

The owner commented he mostly "liked his shoes and he reminded him of a young Peter Kenyon when he refused to wait in the contest line, sat himself front and center of the Press Desk and announced he had already sold naming and broadcast rights to the revamped Irn-Bru*CDS FC Pick a Gaffer contest..."

*Fraser refused comment on how one of his sponsors abandoned his team for The bright light of the High Desert.

PK-IV announced that gaffer "Elfego Baca" was let go despite winning the Double last season to make room for the Winner of The Irn-Bru CDS FC Pick a Gaffer contest, (can be seen live on the new ACME Roadrunner Streaming Service -7 day free trial offer)

Elfego was escorted out of his office while shooting blanks in every direction muttering "...that shiny )*@%_*@ headed $^)$@^&& COO never would have had the &)$#) to fire him if there was not an ammo-shortage..."

Double Winner axed but Stature will remain at Stadium:

PK-IV admitted though the ratings fell flat in most of the the UK and US this contest is the Cult sensation of the year in India, Taiwan and Scotland and has already resulted in CDS FC's 2nd highest ever earnings year despite Covid.

The answer to all of this Super League nonsense is to spread the broadcasting wealth and implement salary caps in the same way that the NFL, NBA and MLB do. The leagues, like the UCL and UEL, are getting boring with the same teams winning year after year and booking their places in European competition. If you want real competition, which the big teams certainly do not, then the leagues need to make radical breaks with the current system. It will likely lead to parity and a different type of boredom down the road, but that certainly beats the wealthy getting only wealthier, which will ultimately lead to the demise of football as we know it.

New Interim Gaffer A'rry Paws refused to comment on his way into CDS FC training grounds for his first training session that he only won the finals of The Irn-Bru CDS FC Pick a Gaffer contest, (replay can still be seen on the new ACME Roadrunner Streaming Service -7 day free trial offer) by intimidating and distracting "I-this many" by chewing his favorite console into several halves right before kick-off.

Gaffer A'rry Paws then announced a total media blackout until they catch Sasha be it this season, be it nigh impossible, this decade or this century

Last season, during restart I was driving through the Mojave when I heard the wheels on the bus starting to rattle. This weekend, I was happy to drive via Las Vegas to Death Valley. On the way back, I was routed through the Mojave and started to hear that rattling sound...

Outside of our own Man City Pepsasha, some understudy places and positional money still up for grabs

    upload_2021-5-5_8-18-43.png

not sure if Tangers has any chips to play, but looking tough to climb out of relegation, not quite but almost time for Dave to pull a bottle off top shelf and kick back in the Lazy-Boy

Hope our Scottish lad is doing okay,

and Pepsasha now with in a couple dozen points of bettering my free team as well:eek:o_O
having 6 scouse and Manu players with Bruno as captain and Jota as vice this week did not help

Thanks for a great season and congratulations to Sasha Juniors who clinched the title in March. I'm looking forward to the Euros, the draft, and a more normal FPL season starting in August.

Congrats to Sasha who was last seasons Liverpool this season, one of the best, if not the best performance here I remember, may he keep up the "last year's Liverpool" similarity up next season...:sneaky::whistling:

Congrats to Journey's fast close as well, saw it coming, but froze like a deer, soon to be venison in a balsamic glaze, in headlights

A fun professional by all, well played smooth year.

Hope the Scot is well, ... ok..ok...already I will cancel my Irn-Bru sponsorship contract

Yes. You ran away with it. Great job! I was too busy all season trying not to get relegated with my mess of a team to ever look that high up the standings. You probably beat my non-draft team!
