He misses 5 big chances according to Opta. Anyway, his finishing is Dembele level this match but still a good game overall.
That's quite misleading though. 3 of those weren't big chances for him alone or they were quarter-chances that he turned into a big chance. E.g there was the 25 yard shot by Neymar that hit the crossbar. Deemed a big chance cuz it hit the bar but would have been a spectacular goal. But twice he was basically 1 on 1 v Neuer. And he hit the post / crossbar 3 times. Demble would take out both corner flags and a row Q seat with those same chances.
I saw one big chance missed . The ball that spilled over from Mbappe where he had to stretch to hit the ball while Neuer came out blocking the shot is not one I consider bad finishing . It’s point blank , it’s 1v1 , but it’s a stretch shot . Not easy to direct that . Unless I missed another 1v1
He had a 1v1 late first half when he hit the right post. Surprisingly Mbappe was pretty invisible. Worrying for the remaining CL teams how easily PSG could have smashed Bayern if both Neymar and Mbappe were "on".
I got the impression watching Neymar that he was very wasteful. He could have scored 2-3 goals yesterday. Anyways today I predict Dortumind stuns Man City and advances. Actually not sure if stuns is the right word because I don't see City as some juggernaut but I think they go through. And Liverpool has a chance to smack the Madridistas back down to Earth. I'd say 20-30% chance of a remontada at Anfield.

Bayern may have been dethroned in the Champions League but they recaptured something more prestigious. Helmond Cup update: Strasbourg 1-4 Paris Saint-Germain Paris Saint-Germain 0-1 Bayern Munich Next: Saturday 17 April Bundesliga, 29. Spieltag Wolfsburg v FC Bayern Looks like the Helmond will be spending the summer break in Germany until September at the earliest.
Good that Villarreal advanced. Now they will be 80% focused on Europa when Barca play them in a couple of weeks (altho would have been even better if we played them one week later).
so the finals can be : CL final - Man.City vs Chelsea EL final - Man.United vs Arsenal When was the last time four Premier League clubs made it to the finals ?
Helmond Cup update: Wolfsburg 2:3 Bayern München Next: Tuesday 20 April Bundesliga, 30. Spieltag Bayern München v Bayer Leverkusen
I don't know where to put as it also involves Barca but Superleague is a mistake It will get old fast and I hope FIFA does what they said they will: ban the players from their NT Let's see how many player will completely give up their national teams
In a joint statement, UEFA, English FA, Italian FA, Spanish FA, Premier, Liga, Serie A announce that the 12 clubs involved in SuperLeague will be banned from domestic league if they will pursue their project Damn!
Atalanta 1-0 Juventus Atalanta leapfrogs over Juve into third place. If Napoli can somehow beat Inter today, Napoli would pull even on points with Juve for that fourth Champions League spot. Lazio is also lurking about. Cristiano in the Europa League? Agnelli falling off his high horse zebra? One can dream, right?
