Lol, it's incredible for the fact that the DF had a so clear advantage on the ball that she could have done anything: controlling the ball, sweeping it away, backpass to GK, you name it! Instead, she decided to go completely out of her way to charge the opponent: no second thought, not even the slightest attempt to play the ball or to mask her intentions! She just zeroed in on the player!
It is, especially the replay camera angle really lets you see just how out of her way the defender went.

In French a goat translate as a chevre and in football term it means a very very bad player with no ability at all
It Italian it works almost as well as in French, with the only difference that in Italian it's not limited to football: one can be a "capra" at basically anything and it means that they're particularly bad at doing that particular thing.
There must be a latin root somewhere with goats being bad animals. But yeah the GOAT thing does not translate well for some of us. Still amazed that NIR managed to qualify for the tournament.
Honestly the goat/G.O.A.T. thing doesn't even work that well in English either because I've seen both meanings used, meaning you either have to be very specific how it's written or provide a ton of contextual clues to make sure it's clear whether you're talking about the very good version or the very bad version.
Maybe he went with the teams he wanted to qualify. There is no thing such as 100% unbiased predictions after all. A touch of bias is always included.
It's just that Simone, Ciara and Rachel are players that I chat with on social media or used to at games, before Covid-19 cut access to everyone.
Media briefing on Wednesday with all European journos. Should be in all papers and online by Wednesday evening.
Good Lord, those are utter steals for the top NT competition in the continent. The prices for the *final* are less than regular season single game tickets for the Washington Spirit at Audi Field....
Yes women's football pricing in Europe is way below the US prices. It was the same for the FIFA WWC 2019. Lyon packages including semi-finals and final were sold for 50, 101,137 and 194 Euros for 3 BIG games.
I think, it is link to what the customers want and are used to pay. They pay much more for men Rugby and Football.
Hopefully this will bring in more fans. Hope the Euros will be successful in England. The 2017 Euros was fun to watch. Especially Netherlands winning!
